ZLATO is the solo alias of Tomá Ivanov, formerly half of early-2010s techno live act KOMATON, whose “In Between” appeared on Cocoon’s Compilation J. After stepping back to explore jazz, live electronics and experimental songwriting (notably as TOMÁ on Atom, 2021), he returns to the floor with a reduced, personal sound: dusty low-end warmth, tight percussion and melodic restraint—functional yet soulful.

Debut EP svjat set the tone with “ktnip,” a stripped, emotive club cut featuring Austrian soul talent Lou Asril. Follow-up jivot pushed deeper into instrumental house with Detroit shadings and broken textures.

Next up: the Spiratio EP (Nov 14), led by a Vocal Edit arriving Nov 7. “Spiratio” sharpens classic house aesthetics—groove-heavy, soulful and precise—adding vocal clarity without losing club energy.
