Bÿständer is an artist who emerged from the techno scene in Amsterdam, now based in Vancouver, is known for high energy and dynamic sets. She gets her inspiration from a variety of genres and decades, therefore Bÿständer sets are recognizable by the wide range of sounds, fast transitions and clever use of vocal mixtures. Having started her musical career through playing piano and violin, Bÿständer approaches her sets on a theoretical and well structured basis. 

Having played across continents, Bÿständer is an up and coming name in the techno scene. She interacts with the crowd not only through her live sets, but also her Radio channel Hangar Nøcturnal which advocates freedom and equality in music. By collaborating with local and international artists, she aims to create a community where all kinds of talent and identities can be celebrated.
