I made this song for a friend and colleague who recently passed away.
I was not too close to him but was always calmed with his presence. A very amiable person.

Like many of our classmates in Art school we went on to need money post schooling. He became a chef. He never left his passion of landscape painting behind.

Although I did not partake but once, he would gather post classmates on landscape painting adventures. 

This song is for Paul Menard. It is not about passing. It is about being in a landscape with birds flittering about, leaving to be replaced by others. on infinitum.
