Cinemascope is a new / dark / cold wave band based in Athens, Greece. It's the one man project of Leo Skiadas who is the owner, resident dj and concert promoter at the leading dark alternative club Death Disco, Athens, having worked with bands like Chameleons, Covenant, She Past Away, Pink Turns Blue etc.
Cinemascope's debut album Stains of Love released on Wave Records on 2013 and includes songs like Never Understand and Five More Minutes (feat. Ronny Moorings of Clan Of Xymox).
7 years later, Cinemascope is back with the same post punk / dark wave feeling but with even stronger songs, lyrics and production on an album under the title “ A Crack on the Wall”.

My professional career is extremely diversified. With a solid background in music composition, cultural studies and economics,  I work as a researcher, composer, performer, teacher, cultural events project manager and fundraiser.
As a composer I tend to mix heterogeneous elements such as contemporary harmony, mixed means with folk Balkan scales and rhythms. I have been commissioned to compose music for theatre, multimedia shows, dance choreography, chamber music, music for mixed means, for orchestra and for chorus. Currently I work on setting Ancient Drama and classical literature text as a prototype form for electroacoustic multimedia work. I am also passionate about scoring and performing new original music for old silent movies.

With their charismatic stage presence and colourful melodies, The Alchemy Ensemble celebrates their music making by bringing the eastern and the western world together through a musical journey.

The Ensemble combines contemporary music and improvisation with strong sense of Mediterranean rhythms & scales.

While having a strong identity, each piece of their compositions is different from the other, allowing the audience to experience a cinematic and philosophical way of appreciating music. The ensemble features Adel Sahnoun on the flute, Pavlos Kapralos on the oud and Vasilis Stamatis on acoustic guitar & compositions.
