MAG Percussion = An electronic Afro-Cuban percussion duo from Denver, CO. Together Rob Brandon and Uriah Espinosa present their unique brand of  percussive, bass driven electronic music with precision; as the two have been playing together for over a decade.

Rob Brandon (MAG) and Uriah Espinosa (also MAG) met at the University of Colorado Denver Music program, in the fall of 2011. Rob a homegrown drummer from Massachusetts, and Uriah a former Blue Knight, immediately hit it off when they realized they were both total MAGs and shared an extremely strong passion for drumming. They both studied and received degrees from the University of Colorado Denver in Afro-Cuban Percussion Performance, under  their teacher Thomas VanSchoick. 

Their mentor Tom unexpectedly passed away in the fall of 2019, which brought Rob and Uriah even closer together. After doing lots of sit in and recording work with other bands in the Denver area, and being propelled by VanSchoick's passing, the two wanted a project they could call their own that was 100% MAG. At the very end of 2019, MAG Percussion was formed. With their incredibly strong work ethic, amazing chemistry while playing together and great stage presence, there is no telling how far these two MAGs will go.

Over the last few of years LetKolben has made plenty of waves and found lots of new friends and like-minded souls from all over the globe. With his incredibly mature and inventive music he’s managed to create his own signature, minimal and deep sound injecting his tracks with an amount of roughness, energy and ambient soul which has become uncommon in times of digital production.

From Europian festival main stages to club floors in, LetKolben has shared his mixer with: Matador, Anja Schneider, Derrick May, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Max Cooper, Acid Pauli, Sebo K, Jacek Sienkiewicz, Martin Eyerer, Dosem, DJ W!ld, Marcin Czubala and many others. His commitment to both honesty and energy encapsulates what can make dance culture life-changing and thrilling for all clubbers on the dancefloor which are reacting instantaneously and truthfully to the music.

We're an alternative rock group from the high desert started with founders and brothers; Vocalist Cota James and Lead Guitarist James Walt. After years of being in band after band we finally decided to put both minds together and write the music ourselves leading to recording our 2nd demo with every instrument done by us
