Recorded in Nicaragua, where I connected with a fierce and rising scene, it’s an echo of the joy, rage, and tenderness we pour into building safer spaces — even when the odds are stacked against us. In a region where art and music are rarely a priority, we keep dancing, keep creating, and keep loving louder. It’s political, tender and loud — just like us.

Ahead of our event this Saturday, we’re thrilled to release @wes-baggaley’s three-hour live recording from the SET Vault dancefloor. 

Nobody quite does it like Wes Baggaley. Is he a house DJ? A techno DJ? A purveyor of noise, punk, and power electronics? A cult favourite, foul-mouthed commentator on club culture? All this and more, actually. 

Wes has honed his craft over thirty years, culminating in appearances at legendary locations such as Panorama Bar, Robert Johnson, and Glastonbury’s Block9. For our inaugural April event, he played a three hour set from midday — a relatively early slot for an artist of his stature, but one that showcased his protean versatility and penchant for keeping a crowd glued to the dancefloor. By the end of his set, he left us with an elated audience and an assurance that the tone for the remaining 9 hours of our sixteen-hour marathon had well and truly been set.

Over the past year, we’ve curated a 20 track digital compilation, that are a direct reflection of the music we live and breathe, together with artists we admire and who inspire us.

THRAXEN is a sonic exploration that blurs the lines between ambient, techno, trance, progressive trance, tribal and more.

All proceeds from this release will be donated to Tirsdagsgruppen, an NGO dedicated to providing humanitarian aid to those affected by the conflict in Palestine.
