Our next podcast is a special live set by the Paris-based musicians Nato & Sahalé.
Individually, they bring us to worlds of ethnic vocals, percussions and wonderfully tantalizing melodies  - each in their own special way. For the 23rd Urban Cosmonaut Radio podcast, they have combined their powers in a timeless live set that takes listeners on a gentle journey through mysterious lands of the oriental past. 

Inspired by their travels and diverse musical influences, this set is the symbiosis of computer scientist Nato and sound craftsman Sahalé. Their productions take their time in building up, releasing in vast spheres of melody, haunting voices and tribal rhythms. We close our eyes, letting them guide us to distant moons in different galaxies, knowing that with Nato & Sahalé, a kind of delicate beauty will engulf us if we trust them enough to follow them on a trip through cosmic portals of endless, profound music.

For the second single from his forthcoming album 'One Hundred Billion Sparks', Max Cooper presents 'Identity'. Minuscule details spiral around immersive acoustics, driven forward by a soothing, muffled kicks and minimal percussion. By manipulating the use of volume throughout the track, Max carves out cavernous acoustics with his familiarly rich palette, this time exploring it within a distinctly angular framework. 

"During my process of isolation to look inward for the basis of the album, I became increasingly aware of the constructs we live inside, the fables we tell ourselves about who we are and the systems which create us. 

It’s hard to accept, but I like the idea that I am only a bunch of malleable constructs. I wanted to tell the story of our personal battle against these pressures of conformity - nationality, religion, social norms, class, peer and parental expectations, we are loaded with constraints which muffle our true personality which is always there simmering underneath, and, in this track at least, eventually bursts through with extreme effect.

From a very young age his taste for music was evident.
At the age of 16 he was already a resident of a small club, close to home.
Between djs contests, invitations to monthly residences, an invitation to the Cais de Gaia , where he made radio programs for the Radio Nova Era, direct of the Nova Era Caffe.
One of the first hits is an unofficial remix of Vaya con Dios, Puertorico.
Over the years he dedicates more time to production and one of the first songs is edited by Broken Records by Jesse Saunders, one of the Electronic Music Pioneers in Chicago along with Frankie Knucles, one of House Music's Legends.
Now I unfold to be an exemplary Father, producer and Dj, having a residence in one of the most respected houses of the Region of the Sousa Valley, Casa do Lago.
