FAUX NO is the production and vocal duo of Maaike Lebbing and Reija Lee (formally known as "Kito & Reija Lee"). Two passionate Australian friends now based in London; the two draw inspiration from a vast selection of music that has sound tracked the love, lust and teenage rebellion that defines so much of what they're about. Maaike
and Reija's first collaborative release came in the form of the game changing "LFO" that was released in early 2009 on Skream's Disfigured Dubz imprint. Since then, they have worked together on a number of pieces for Mad Decent, including the "Sweet Talk" EP, and have now reunited under one name to explore a new style.

Their first single under the new FAUX NO moniker is called "Velma Kelly". A bass infused pop tune, it highlights both
Maaike's bombast percussion style with Reija's melodic vocals. Along with the single we've got two remixes- one from recent Kito collaborator Feadz (Ed Banger) and a rapid-fire juke production from Norway's Slick Shoota.

Raf Riley is a young wizard coming straight out of London. His music is a perfect fit for us at Mad Decent / Jeffree's because we have no idea how to category his music especially the Dog Unit Trilogy. It's like cinematic dubstep horror scores for the year 2039, he is our modern day Goblin. In fine Jeffree's fashion, Volume 5 features a genre hopping array of releases covering everything from the laid back Cali Rap of Pheo to the cinematic synth driven madness of Raf Riley and everything in-between.

Pheo starts off the release with his smooth Derek "DJA" Allen produced track California Sex, an ode to ladies from Cali and the World. Raf Riley's 3 part opus "Dog Unit" follows taking a page from the cinematic dubstep horror scores of 2039. It wouldn't be a proper Jeffree's compilation without some moombahton and Gent & Jawns hard hitting single "Holler" doesn't disappoint. "Gimme That," is an all-out assault as Angel Haze lays a relentless tongue-lashing to Lunice's synth, kick, and snap stew.
