Javi Frias is a well respected DJ and producer from the disco and house scene. He began collecting and playing records as a young ‘soul boy' at the end of the nineties in Madrid, his hometown, and since then he has not stopped traveling to share his music through many venues, clubs and festivals worldwide. New York, Cairo, London, Mexico City, Paris, Barcelona, Washington DC, Amsterdam or Berlin are some of the places where he has had the opportunity to carry out his incendiary, eclectic and danceable sets full of disco, boogie, funk, house and soulful sounds.

In the past few years he has begun to make noise at international level thanks to his edits and reworks, published a handful of EPs and singles on influential labels like Street Edits, Tropical Disco Records, Giant Cuts, Midnight Riot, Boogie Café or Bons Records. His music is played and charted regularly by top DJs such Danny Krivit, Detroit Swindle, Red Greg, Horse Meat Disco, Jacques Renault, Rahaan, Marcel Vogel, Folamour, Get Down Edits, Frank Booker...

In 2017 he started his own label Night Shift Records, devoted to edits and reworks of disco and house, where he has released in vinyl and digital his own productions and occasionally the work of other fellow producers. He's also part of the mysterious Disco Pocho label, focused on the soul and funk side of the disco edit, where he has already released a couple of 7”.

Behind the spatial pseudonym of the Parisian producer Adrien Erra hides an overflowing energy and a two-faceted music, rhythmic and aerial, and as well influenced by the house of Detroit as by balearic house inspirations of Ibiza. In 2016, he participated in the creation of the label Pont Neuf Records on which he signed three first tracks. His first two EPs 10 Feet Before The Horizon on Pont Neuf and Menorca on Jimpster’s imprint Delusions of Grandeur go out in 2018 and mark the beginning of a long series of release, with no less than 5 new EPs in 2 years: Odyssey and Talamanca on Pont Neuf, Venezia and
Despair Roads on the Australian label Beats Of No Nation but also Mist in collaboration with the producer Tour-Maubourg on STRCTR.
The Parisian producer displays a sound universe always more complex and mature, and attracts many eyes on him, so much so that Mixmag describes him as ‘‘one of the fast-rising producers of the moment’’. His first album Hidden Places is set to be released on May 13th, 2022 on Pont Neuf and with it a turning point in the still young career of Cosmonection.

One of hottest up & comers around right now is next up to the mixtapes and he's provided us with the finest selection of wax and digital tracks right now!

First things you have to know with Kellit is that ‘the funkier the better’, a statement he encompasses in both his productions and DJ sets. 

Initial underground outings in Birmingham towards the end of his sixth form years was the first taste of the music he has come to know and love.

However, it wasn't until  the full introduction to the Liverpool scene whilst Studying there at University that really cemented this passion. This exposure coupled with heavy influences from his parents' taste in 80's music and disco have really moulded his sound to what it is today.

Kellit’s current direction sees sets full of energy with disco, 80's and acid influences prominent in an all encompassing ‘house’ sound.  Kellit holds releases on labels such See-Saw, Lisztomania, Moiss Music, with a notable number of unreleased projects ready to find a home and many more scheduled for release throughout the year!
