Danielle Knoll: #90s kid. Lover & Creator of Pop Music.

	Toronto native Danielle Knoll; is a singer-songwriter with a pop sensibility way beyond her years. Alive, her second Ep was released on July 28th, and is already gaining much deserved attention.  She had a sold out show the night of the release, at The Piston in Toronto. The 6-track EP is an exceptionally hooky, 1990s pop/rock-inspired, contemporary pop album. It was recorded in Toronto, at Exeter Sound Studios, with producer Thomas McKay (JoyDrop, The Nightcrawlers). Her superior song writing and pop vocal abilities are drawing her comparisons to a young Avril Lavigne with the soulfulness of Alessia Cara and Tori Kelly. 

	 In 2013, Danielle was enrolled in Coalition Music’s Artist Entrepreneur program where she worked with Treble Charger front man and producer Greig Nori, and guitarist Sean Kelly (Nelly Furtado, Lee Aaron). She was also asked to join the house band of YTV’s “The Next Star” as a backup singer. Danielle then went on to perform in both Canadian Music Week and NXNE showcases. 

	In July 2014, Danielle released her first Ep “The Sound”, with Toronto based producer and mixing engineer, Gabe Gallucci (Shawn Mendes, Disney, Divine Brown). Danielle’s songwriting abilities have not gone unnoticed as she has written with a handful of producers and songwriters such as Andee, Johnny Active, and Nice Horse, to name a few. She was asked to pen songs for Canadian recording artist Jordan “J-Man” Francis, and Victoria Az, Mini-pop Kid, and winner of Long and McQuade’s national singing competition. 

      Performing monthly with her band Toronto, if you get a chance to see her live, do it. You’ll leave with your ears wanting more.
