Birthed from the reverberating hymns of Europe’s rave scene, Kansas-born, Brooklyn-based SEKUCCI discovered rave culture parading around London, Paris and Berlin’s nightlife functions and venues. Curious with sounds unfamiliar to them at the time, they returned to the US fully invested in the culture. Sekucci’s genre-bending, high energy sets have been described as pulsating with percussive elements and chaotic blends all deeply rooted in emotion and introspection. Sekucci has DJ’d at some of New York’s best nightclubs including Bossa Nova, Elsewhere, and Nowadays for parties like Papi Juice, Dweller Festival, Club Carry, and Dick Appointment.
