Universal - A Concert Film by Lasse Hoile

In May 2012 Anathema released 'Weather Systems', the most acclaimed and successful album of the band's celebrated career. The album scored high in numerous critics end of year polls around the world and cemented the band's reputation as one of the most exciting and progressive band around.

Following the release of the album the band embarked on a lengthy tour. The European leg opened with a triumphant one-off show at the ancient Roman theatre of Philippopolis with the Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestra in September 2012. This incredible show was documented by acclaimed filmmaker Lasse Hoile (Steven Wilson, Porcupine Tree, Opeth, Dream Theater), the stunning results of which will be released as Universal.

Fans can relive the magic on September 23rd. The film is released as a four disc audio-visual set, capturing the magic of the evening on Blu-ray, DVD and two CD's. This limited edition set features bonus audio content and footage of the band recorded at the Union Chapel in London. A two disc (CD & DVD) set and a Blu-ray edition will also be available.

Lost No More is Part 2 or a follow-on song from a break up song I wrote 18 months prior named Lost & Wandering. 
On it's own still sends a message, not to lose yourself in the heartache of a break up & never give up on love.  
It does make a small reference to Lost & Wandering hence the title.

This track operates like a cosmic event disguised as music — the kind of sonic asset that doesn’t just “drop,” it collapses inward like a star hitting its limit.

In 2010 Anathema released We’re Here Because We’re Here, the band’s first new album for almost seven years. The album was awarded Classic Rock’s Prog Album of the Year as well as a host of other accolades and the producer, Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree), has described it as “definitely among the best albums I’ve ever had the pleasure to work on.”
The band now return with Weather Systems, their brand new studio album. The album will be available as a limited edition 2 disc set which will come packaged in a deluxe digibook and feature a 5.1 surround sound mix of the album.

Anathema have been at the forefront of the UK rock/metal movement for many years. They began their journey as pioneers of melodic heavy music, influencing a myriad of bands to follow them, before outgrowing all genres and limitations as they fearlessly explored new territory and new ways to express feeling through sound.

Formed in Liverpool in 1990, the band’s sound, and musical vision has continually evolved over the ensuing years while always remaining true to their original goal of creating forward thinking, meaningful, passionate and honest music. The line-up is really a collective of two families who were quite simply born to do it. Anathema consists of brothers Vincent, Daniel and Jamie Cavanagh, alongside childhood friends John Douglas and his sister Lee, who is an incredible singer in her own right.

There is a deeper bond in the group that transcends usual band politics, ego, and self-interest. They have a shared vision: to make the most incredible music they possibly can, and it seems, despite the lavish praise heaped on the band for their past work, that they are now taking their work to a whole new level.
