In the time of ancient Greece, when the main religion was the Dodecatheon, the ancient Greeks organised various festivals in honour of the Gods, in which various hymns and songs were sung. In such manner in honour of God Dionysus, his followers sang the Bacchic songs, songs that had a type of orgiastic vibe and rhythm.
