Ryan Dank/Toke Ekelund

Residing in Copenhagen and with more than 14 years of experience as a professional Dj, Ryan Dank is a passionate and driving force of the Copenhagen club scene. Aside from being a dedicated music lover and record collector, Ryan is also a producer, who has been featured on collaborative white label projects as well as independent releases. He has mainly released music under his alias Toke Ekelund, but is primarily focused on his Dj project Ryan Dank, which mostly revolves around Deep- and Funk driven House music, with a twist of Minimal, Acid and Electro.
 
With past residencies at the best clubs in Copenhagen like the infamous, now closed, Dunkel, Jolene, Werkstatt and Culturebox, as well as having played various festivals, and cities across Europe, Ryan has been around the block. This journey has led him to play alongside some of the world's most renowned DJ's in House music, including names like Hunee, Leon Vynehall, Move D, Jimpster, Cinthie, The Revenge, Black Loops and more.
 
He has a strong vision and attitude towards music, which is his gateway to mediate energy from behind the booth. With a background as a drummer his approach as a DJ is well-founded in the understanding of rhythm and groove, which truly shows through his energetic and playful sets. Through his craft he seeks to create a common-ground for his crowd and lives for the special bonds and memories created on the dancefloor.
 
Over the years, Ryan has been a part of various DYI- and club concepts, hosting a long string of parties throughout Copenhagen, with the Danish DJ-collectives Lovestomp, and BGM8S Collective. Nowadays he's a part of the resident DJ roster at Funk Majeure, being a radio host and booker for Radio Arena, as well as working as artist care at Culture Box.

Sonic wise we run the gauntlet of electronic music from ambient to downtempo, strains of techno to all manner of house, dub to forms of d&b, with pit stops in other genres just so no one is left out."

Består af Sara Willemoes Thomsen og Kim Sandra Rask. Bandet blev startet i 2007 under navnet "måske bare musik" og ændret til "lydtegninger" og igen ændret tilbage til det oprindelige. Vi spiller rundt omkring på random lokationer. Som regel spiller vi der, hvor vi bor og har boet og/eller i nærheden. Ude som inde, på tørrelofter, i parker, på kirkegårde, gennem skype (fra ARGENTINA til ÅRHUS og fra RAMALLAH til KØBENHAVN), offentlige og ikke offentlige steder. Lyden kan bedst beskrives som en rejse og en lydtegning af nuet og er næsten aldrig tiltænkt, at der er et publikum. Dersom vil der uundgåeligt altid være et, da der ofte er nogle, der går forbi. Alt er improviseret.
