On this third release from CODE, we bring up some of the finest names in liquid dnb for remix duties on several Science Fiction classics. Upon their initial release back in 2008 on the now defunct Inside Recordings, "Jah No Dead" and "I Ask You Why" caused quite a stir on the scene for their dub influenced vibes. Limited to only a few vinyl presses, word quickly spread within the scene and copies have long since disappeared. 

By comparison, Bungle's remix of "Spanish Sun" has long been something of a liquid anthem. Originally featured on the flipside of the infamous "Song For Lovers" 12" .. the track was quickly picked up by Drum n Bass Arena as part of their Summer Selection compliation. In more recent years since, Bungle aka Andre Sabota has been pushing his sound into both house and techno whilst still dropping drum n bass anthems like the recent Soul:r release "Astral Travel". 

CODE is now proud to release these three landmark liquid dnb tracks for the first time ever on digital download.

The Bachelors are back for the second release on their new CODE Recordings label. Following the most recent success of their “Ghettos and Garden’s” remix on Dirtybird, the San Francisco based trio return to CODE, teaming up with industry heavyweights Ben Soundscape (Insiders, Metalheadz) and Kemo MC (RAM, Soul:R) fresh off his recent global hit, “Pure Gold” (Ram), for the massive "Ainokea". The tune features classic drum patters armed with heavy break fills, deep legato sub notes, spaced out atmospheres, and of course Kemo's unmistakable vocal texture with lyrics that speak truth and inspire us to keep life's priorities in check. One for the dance floor and the headphones alike. 

For the flip BoS lay down a phenomenal piece of minimal Drum & Bass in the highly anticipated "Upside Down". Having been featured on their latest Knowledge Magazine mix, this track is loaded with vibes and boasts lush chords, a killer synth hook, sultry vocals and a deep hypnotic sub bass line. After fashioning a computer from grass, sand and the blood of an orange, these jungle-dwellers began constructing beats to pass the time, whilst held in captivity by the local tribesmen. After a year of gruelling agony, fighting and continuous bouts of malaria, they broke free thanks to an ingenious monkey they had nicknamed Jo Jo Jr, who had crafted a key from a banana and the root of the finest Ayahuasca plant we had ever seen! 

After tripping for several hours, they escaped, and rowed back to their home in Tooting, where Jimmy Saville fixed it for them to have a real computer, as theirs was beginning to rot. 

And this brings us to now, where Conduct has amassed support from giants within the industry, including Indigo, Synkro, Blu Mar Ten, L.A.O.S, Bachelors Of Science and more. Look for their debut single 'Come On, Dan!' forthcoming on CODE Recordings.

Few artists to emerge from North America’s Drum & Bass culture have made such a significant or enduring impact as San Francisco based trio Bachelors of Science. Formed in 2005, the group has carved out an unmistakable signature sound that spans the full emotional scope of the genre. From deep liquid over to the harder dance floor sounds of DnB, BoS have retained their musical quality and a loyal following, picking up a Beatport award for Best Drum n Bass single and several features on BBC Radio 1 while garnering DJ support across the scene from artists like LTJ Bukem, High Contrast, Friction, S.P.Y, Spectrasoul, Doc Scott, Bryan Gee, Marky, and many more.

Having released music on labels like Spearhead, Dirtybird, Fokuz, Horizons and Intrigue, in 2012 they launched CODE Recordings as an outlet for their music as well as standout productions from some of the top artists in the DnB scene.

On stage BoS bring an energy and vibe that is all their own. From top clubs like Fabric and Ministry of Sound to festivals and events such as Tomorrowland, Sun and Bass, Hospitality and Liquicity, the guys regularly perform around the world taking crowds on a unique journey with everything from originals and bootlegs to custom edits of cutting edge tracks and past future classics.
