To close out the last of The Space Between Remix Series , we turn over four more prime cuts to some of the freshest producers in the scene. First up, we take one of the most memorable jams from the album, dubwise roller “Backfoot Dub” featuring long time BoS family member the Emcee Child. We turn remix duties over to one of the 
masters of jungle riddims the mighty Bladerunner. Wasting no time at all, the tune drops into thick amen beats before introducing the skatinged horns of the original. 

From there we go straight into a monster Reese bassline that’s setting floors alight. Up next, Jaybee & Dave Owen take the delicate “Cartier” and turn it into a rugged liquid roller. Soulful vocals play against the cut up guitar hook of the original as it slinks and slides its way over a techfueled bassline. 

For our third remix track, we go into the moody “Don’t Hold Back” . For this cut, one of the most promising producers in the North American scene, Flaco takes things deep with a complex blend of pads over crisp claps and rolling beats. One for the sunrise vibes, he keeps the lush vocals of Dylan Germick strong throughout the track. 

To close out the EP, we turn our heads to Bristol as The Insiders take the tune “Control” into darker territory. Crisp hats ride along the intro as the track builds before dropping into an old school rugged bassline stepper reminiscent of the jungle roots of their hometown.

Few artists to emerge from North America’s Drum & Bass culture have made such a significant or enduring impact as San Francisco based trio Bachelors of Science. Formed in 2005, the group has carved out an unmistakable signature sound that spans the full emotional scope of the genre. From deep liquid over to the harder dance floor sounds of DnB, BoS have retained their musical quality and a loyal following, picking up a Beatport award for Best Drum n Bass single and several features on BBC Radio 1 while garnering DJ support across the scene from artists like LTJ Bukem, High Contrast, Friction, S.P.Y, Spectrasoul, Doc Scott, Bryan Gee, Marky, and many more.

Having released music on labels like Spearhead, Dirtybird, Fokuz, Horizons and Intrigue, in 2012 they launched CODE Recordings as an outlet for their music as well as standout productions from some of the top artists in the DnB scene.

On stage BoS bring an energy and vibe that is all their own. From top clubs like Fabric and Ministry of Sound to festivals and events such as Tomorrowland, Sun and Bass, Hospitality and Liquicity, the guys regularly perform around the world taking crowds on a unique journey with everything from originals and bootlegs to custom edits of cutting edge tracks and past future classics.

Biography:
Jarin Love is a Los Angeles-based DJ, promoter and tastemaker-in-the-making, who’s leaving her indelible
impression on Southern California nightlife. Since making the jump to the pro DJ circuit in 2012, Jarin Love has
elevated the local scene to national acclaim through her unique bookings with cutting-edge artists and talent as
well as her own future-forward sets and performances.
A multi-faceted creative, Jarin Love has amassed an impressive list of accomplishments and accolades in a
matter of three short years. As a resident DJ with Deepaura Music, a leading underground label in southern
California, she pushes deep cuts and hustles bouncy tracks, which hark back to the golden age of house and
techno. She also rolls with the Modern Disco Ambassadors crew, an events and promotions collective that
hosts regular events and party series across Los Angeles and Orange County, as a resident DJ at their
eponymous weekly club night at La Cave in Costa Mesa, CA. Currently, she’s working on her debut original
music set for release in the near future.
Jarin Love is also an ambassador for Los Angeles nightlife institution Exchange LA, a world-renowned venue
and one of the most celebrated clubs in the US, voted #4 in America by the iconic clubbing and electronic
culture publication, DJ Mag . For over three years, she worked the rounds at Exchange LA, learning the
business and wearing multiple hats as promoter, VIP host and DJ late into the midnight hours every weekend.
She built a reputation on the club circuit through her dedication at Exchange LA, but more importantly, she
began to cultivate her own following through her regular duties behind the decks. Through her unique style and
riveting sets, she quickly caught the undivided attention of the industry and fans alike and eventually became a
resident DJ at Exchange LA, the first woman to hold that role at the venue. She’s since opened the
club’s main stage for a number of dance music heavyweights and fellow up-and-comers, from rising house star
Sonny Fodera (Defected Records), Shiba San, trance favorites Gareth Emery and Ørjan Nilsen, Mat Zo, and the Anjunadeep/Anjunabeats family, Shiba San,  all performances that reflect her versatility as a DJ as well as her wide-spanning and
diverse musical styles.
Elsewhere, she’s also performed at numerous events and venues all across Southern California including
Kitsch Bar (Like.Minded), Temple Tuesdays, Frequency Fridays (Black Pug Music), Deepaura Desert Gathering, Subsurface, Avalon in Hollywood, Re:Love in the Park and more.
As one of the fastest-rising female DJs in Los Angeles, Jarin Love also champions equality and social
awareness through respect, recognition, and celebration of all people, no matter gender or background. A
proud mother of three young boys, she’s raised her children surrounded by the infectious positivity of the local
dance community and looks to spread the love to those in her circle and beyond.
