“Spread your wings, we can fly – if we just believe” … singer Maria Remos soars with those lyrics in the vocal liquid DnB anthem “Energy” taken from the upcoming Bachelors Of Science album “Within This Moment”.

This is the first time Maria has reunited with Bachelors Of Science since their breakout single “Morning Sun” with Smote, and together they combine for an uplifting heavyweight track designed to lift us all out of any challenging times.

It’s been over six years since the Bachelors’ last album “The Space Between” hit the scene, but since that time they’ve racked up remixes and releases on Formation, Spearhead, Liquicity and most recently their second remix for Dirtybird for their DnB remix of Claude VonStroke’s “I’m Solo”.

All the while, the bands label CODE Recordings has continued to flourish developing talents the likes of Winslow, Jazzatron, Smote, Mosaic, Sobo and more.

“Within This Moment” marks the return of the label founders to their roots and showcases the diverse influences and styles that has kept them as one of drum n bass’s most unique producers.

Few artists to emerge from North America’s Drum & Bass culture have made such a significant or enduring impact as San Francisco based trio Bachelors of Science. Formed in 2005, the group has carved out an unmistakable signature sound that spans the full emotional scope of the genre. From deep liquid over to the harder dance floor sounds of DnB, BoS have retained their musical quality and a loyal following, picking up a Beatport award for Best Drum n Bass single and several features on BBC Radio 1 while garnering DJ support across the scene from artists like LTJ Bukem, High Contrast, Friction, S.P.Y, Spectrasoul, Doc Scott, Bryan Gee, Marky, and many more.

Having released music on labels like Spearhead, Dirtybird, Fokuz, Horizons and Intrigue, in 2012 they launched CODE Recordings as an outlet for their music as well as standout productions from some of the top artists in the DnB scene.

On stage BoS bring an energy and vibe that is all their own. From top clubs like Fabric and Ministry of Sound to festivals and events such as Tomorrowland, Sun and Bass, Hospitality and Liquicity, the guys regularly perform around the world taking crowds on a unique journey with everything from originals and bootlegs to custom edits of cutting edge tracks and past future classics.
