Versatile, dependable Swiss label Demand Records are back, showcasing their new Albatross EP by prodigious 18 year old Belgium based producer Phase – an artist whom they first unearthed and exhibited last summer with the vibey, liquid roller pairing of Ways Of Thought/No Doubt – a record which caused quite a stir when it was first released.

Turning up the heat even more, refining and distilling down his production technique and sound into something much more unique and hard hitting, whilst at the same time retaining his original liquid orientated soundscapes, Phase’s new EP combined aspects of rugged, low end experimentation with heady summer vibes. Combining emotional, organic instrumentation with a lovely selection of varied vocal performers – elements that lift the gifted producer out of strictly dancefloor territory into that of real musicianship and song writing – banging, uncluttered beats and downright dutty reese bass work, Phase’s music comes across as a bastard hybrid of epic proportions.

I Mean It returns to his signature liquid vibes uniting sun-soaked Balearic, guitar riddled vibes, with the downright sexy yet pining, longing vocals of frequent collaborator LaMeduza, creating a lush, sensual peak time Ibiza referencing number to watch the setting sun go down too.

Delve into the deepest layers of drum & bass with Anile’s impressive debut LP, “Perspective”. Combining a thoughtful synergy of sounds that pulsates sophistication; infusing warehouse echoes with crisp percussion for a refined yet raw, underground authenticity.

Opening with a resonance of childhood reminders in “False Tense” that combines a shimmering synth with all-absorbing waves of bass. Few artists to emerge from North America’s Drum & Bass culture have made such a significant or enduring impact as San Francisco based trio Bachelors of Science. Formed in 2005, the group has carved out an unmistakable signature sound that spans the full emotional scope of the genre. From deep liquid over to the harder dance floor sounds of DnB, BoS have retained their musical quality and a loyal following, picking up a Beatport award for Best Drum n Bass single and several features on BBC Radio 1 while garnering DJ support across the scene from artists like LTJ Bukem, High Contrast, Friction, S.P.Y, Spectrasoul, Doc Scott, Bryan Gee, Marky, and many more.

Having released music on labels like Spearhead, Dirtybird, Fokuz, Horizons and Intrigue, in 2012 they launched CODE Recordings as an outlet for their music as well as standout productions from some of the top artists in the DnB scene.

On stage BoS bring an energy and vibe that is all their own. From top clubs like Fabric and Ministry of Sound to festivals and events such as Tomorrowland, Sun and Bass, Hospitality and Liquicity, the guys regularly perform around the world taking crowds on a unique journey with everything from originals and bootlegs to custom edits of cutting edge tracks and past future classics.
