Ethos, Optics - In Front Of You [Premiere]

For the third and final single taken from the forthcoming Bachelors Of Science album “Within This Moment”, the Bachelors deliver a monster track featuring the gutsy vocals of DnB legend Pat Fulgoni for “Stomp”.

Born out of standing up for what’s right, speaking truth to power, and activism pasts of both artists – “Stomp” really sets the tone for some of the core messages of the album, and does it in a massive way.

It’s been one of THE standout tracks in Bachelors sets over the past year, and hot off the heels of Pat’s massive collaborations with Murdoch, Keeno, Technimatic and others – Pat brings full force energy to the floor once again.

Expect twists and turns as the Bachelors channel influences far and wide, from punk to spiritual folk songs laced with gritty basslines to deliver something really unique.

“Within This Moment” marks the return of label founders Bachelors Of Science to their roots and showcases the diverse influences and styles that has kept them as one of drum n bass’s most unique producers.

Our mate pyxis returns to the Fat to deliver the first in her new ‘Gradients’ series.

‘Waterfalls’ features the impeccable, soul drenched vocals of the amazing Frank Carter III. These two conjure absolute magic in this collab with Frank effortlessly lacing pyxis skippy drums and double bass licks. Frank’s lyrics lament the duality of the beauty and pain of life. This is healing music!

‘Elias’ finds pyxis exploring her jazzy side. Soothing piano chords, rolling breaks, double bass and emotive saxophone samples seasoned with some trademark pyxis twinkles. Summertime bliss!

The 50th release on the Tesseract Imprint marks a historical moment for the label, which started in 2015. 
TESREC050 welcomes back two familiar faces in D Flect & Arcus. The label's head honcho curator was featured way back on the first release, so it was appropriate and symbolic that they should feature again at this point in the label's history.  
With their first release together since the "Summetry" various artists album on Breaks  Symmetry imprint, they return here with two tracks, rich in pianos, pads, deep rolling basses, and even a subtle Nordic theme complimented with a fitting artwork supplied by artist and friend of the label Tom Cummings. 
The Tesseract Recordings team now look forward to the next 50 releases and hope that you can enjoy and share in this great journey together!

Few artists to emerge from North America’s Drum & Bass culture have made such a significant or enduring impact as San Francisco based trio Bachelors of Science. Formed in 2005, the group has carved out an unmistakable signature sound that spans the full emotional scope of the genre. From deep liquid over to the harder dance floor sounds of DnB, BoS have retained their musical quality and a loyal following, picking up a Beatport award for Best Drum n Bass single and several features on BBC Radio 1 while garnering DJ support across the scene from artists like LTJ Bukem, High Contrast, Friction, S.P.Y, Spectrasoul, Doc Scott, Bryan Gee, Marky, and many more.

Having released music on labels like Spearhead, Dirtybird, Fokuz, Horizons and Intrigue, in 2012 they launched CODE Recordings as an outlet for their music as well as standout productions from some of the top artists in the DnB scene.

On stage BoS bring an energy and vibe that is all their own. From top clubs like Fabric and Ministry of Sound to festivals and events such as Tomorrowland, Sun and Bass, Hospitality and Liquicity, the guys regularly perform around the world taking crowds on a unique journey with everything from originals and bootlegs to custom edits of cutting edge tracks and past future classics.
