This song comes from a place in me that I haven't explored ever. It comes from a place that when you reach a certain age, or have a health problem rear its ugly head, you stop, take the time to think about it, and then realize there are more years behind than ahead.

Every year I record a jazz version of a Christmas carol. This time it's the famous "O come all ye faithful". A simple jazz combo of piano, upright bass & drum kit are the only instrumentation needed to round this classic out & give you an alternative to all those saccharine sweet Christmas tunes playing from shopping centre loudspeakers at this time of year.
