pretty much everything is recorded live and most are done in one take, they aren't perfect or even close. 
Some of the imperfections are intentional while others are left in because of the way my equipment records. Everything you hear is done without a DAW, and done closer to the ways of old than it is to drag and drop sample packs. 
I use lots of practical sounds, and live recordings for ambiance. I sample lots, both on vinyl and digitally.
