Because I strongly appreciate the Band Pankow from eastern Berlin I did this remix of their track "Langeweile" released in 1989.

Mancha Recordings # 10 is a new release by Back for Good. He has made some EPs within the last years and brought out his first Album "Zehn" in 2014 using his real name Matthias Speck. Back for Good is focused on raw, unpolished electronic cuts with some old school attitude. For the tenth Mancha - release Back for Good got remix support by DJ Overdose AKA Model Man who is very much appreciated for his releases on L.I.E.S, Crème Organization, Unknown to the Unknown and others.

The "Forever Sabrina EP" is the premier release of Falko Kraus aka. k.fog on Mancha Recordings. He is one of the originals of Chemnitz´electronic music scene and one of the heads of the Beatconnect Crew. K.Fog has already brought out music on the Paris based label - Entropy Records, on 2 Bit Crew Recordings from Denmark and the German - Ranges and A Friend In Need imprints. The remixes for his debut on Mancha come from the Berlin based house heads Kim Brown - Music (Permanent Vacation, Freerange Records rec.), Italo Disco legend Mr Pauli (Clone Records, Viewlexx - MurderCapital, Bordello A Parigi) and Mancha Recordings Label head BACK FOR GOOD. Only one question remains: Will Falko ever tell us who this mysterious Sabrina is?

Kicking off the release is the sounds of the title track, ‘Gymnastics’. A gnarly, synth heavy track that will breathe life into any set it’s allowed to roam free in, it’s the sort of cut you’ll be humming long after the night has drawn to a close. Full of zippy, dextrous sounds and deceptively simple, this baseline-led anthem might be classic in structure yet still manages to portray a forward-facing ethos. 
Next up is the remix, which comes at us courtesy of Betonkust. Although his effort is a far cry from the original, it too is never lacking in heart. Full of shiny, glistening, almost camp vibes, it’s the sort of smile-inducing record that could just as easily have come out on eclectic labels a la Running Back or Hivern Discs. A truly momentous way to polish the original, it’s hardly surprising Betonkust has been siding up alongside Palmboman and playing the likes of Dekmantel of late.
 
Last but not least is Back for Good’s second original, the aptly named ‘Wasted’. An engaging but stifling and at times uncomfortable track, it’s the sort of lo-fi cut that gets under your skin in all the right ways. A fine foil to matters elsewhere, it signs off the EP with rich aplomb. A fascinating insight into the mind of two producers we’re sure to be hearing more from soon, Turn it Down’s latest is a truly impressive one.

After a longer period of silence there is a new release by TURN IT DOWN MUSIC label head Matthias Speck aka BACK FOR GOOD in this turbulent spring. He used the time to compose two fresh, analogue creaking electro tracks. While the piece "elbow check one" appears rather bleak and reflects the current overall mood quite well, the basic mood of "elbow check two" is significantly more positive and optimistic. Both tracks complement each other well and ensure well-kept living room entertainment during the exit restrictions and for sure will also be played in some clubs afterwards.
