He currently publishes his productions on labels like Hivern Discs, Oslated, BAHN Records.

Kenneth has been djing all over Europe the last 2 decades, playing clubs like Fabric, Berghain, Tresor,  and at Festivals like Sonar, ADE & Dimension. Running the 3 labels Echocord, Echocord Colour, Echo Echo and Pattern Repeat with Resoe. 

A true Pillar of the Dub Techno Scene, someone who has been pushing the boundaries of the genre through his label and his DJ sets for many years. It's an honour to have Kenneth showcase his sound for us.

The Frontier 002 - Kenneth Christiansen

This month we're taking off into the undeniably wintry vibes with a rare solar eclipse as it would be seen from our satellite, the moon. As this is certainly a special and beautiful event, we are more than happy that it will be accompanied by a Berlin friend whom we greatly appreciate, also because of his soft spot for cosmic aesthetics: Ole Olsen.

Born and raised on the German coast, he has spent the last few years as a DJ fishing in predominantly progressive waters. In the process, he developed his very own techy style with a psychedelic twist, which he successfully presented in various club sets in and around Berlin, always to the delight of the local rave community. Recently, however, he has embarked on a new musical path and is now moving into more hypnotic spheres. At his second home in Berlin, Sisyphos, he provided direct proof that he may be new to this territory, but is by no means unfamiliar with it. His couple of earth-shaking and head-spinning sets provided us with a few space-age moments on the dancefloor, which we surely wont forget.

For this mix, we get to hear the deeper nuances of his latest digging process. The result is a 104-minute flowing journey that doesn't shy away from diving deep into the sea below, nor venturing into the infinite sky above. Real class that we will hopefully be hearing more of!

015 - Ancestral Landscapes

Revelation of Sounds is pleased to present Noah Lyas. Noah grew up in a house where music was the dominating factor. With passionate parents who shared a large record collection with their children and with a father as a musician, early contact with different instruments was made as well as performing arts and writing music.
Later in life, after many dances in night clubs with friends, Noah started to make music focussing on soft percussive rhythms and lush atmospheres, finding inspiration in different kinds of music and sometimes movies.
In August 2020, his first EP called “Before the Horizon” was released on Profundo Collective. He started this collective with the aim of forming a record label and to come together as a collective to share the love for profound music with each other and organizing label events as well.

Here is how Noas' friend describes his music art (and we fully agree with this statement!):

“In the depths of silence, we can feel the resonance of these rhythms, pulsating within the core of our being. They remind us of our roots, anchoring us to the timeless cadence of existence. In embracing profound rhythms, we find harmony within ourselves and with the world around us, dancing to the eternal song of creation”.

Claudio PRC’s (@claudioprc) fifth album, Self Surrender, unfolds as a reflective journey of self-acceptance, a story embracing reality in its purest and most unfiltered form. Released via Delsin Records, this marks his first full-length album on the label, following the EP’s Rites of Passage (2021), Challenger Deep (2022) and Golden Scales (2024).

The album explores different and more leftfield sonic corners, while remaining true to Claudio’s cavernous, deep, and spiritual essence. It’s a journey through different styles, with echoes of the past and contemporary influences merging.

Self Surrender begins with ambient and dub echoes, moving through dark, minimal rhythms and deep techno. It blends techno and house elements, exploring themes of sin and redemption with cutting synths and tight grooves. This first half of the longplayer closes introspectively with a reflective ambient piece.

In the second part, the sound shifts to more energetic techno. It’s driven by heavy kicks and dreamy atmospheres, with acid-laden textures and haunting strings. To conclude, Self Surrender closes with an ethereal track, fully embodying the theme of surrender and acceptance.

Born in Sardinia and now based in Berlin, Claudio PRC has been a key figure in the deep techno scene since 2006. His music is deeply rooted in a philosophical approach, drawing from Detroit techno, electroacoustics, and his academic background in Music and New Technologies. Over the years, he has released on labels such as Prologue Music, Semantica Records, while also establishing his label 012 as a platform for art and sound research.

For the thirteenth episode of our podcast series, we are presenting a 90-minute studio recorded mix by Kim Kenis.

Natural consequence is a key phrase for Brussels-born DJ Kim Kenis.  Raised by a drummer, it’s no coincidence that she easily stays in time as she strings together gems from along the genre spectrum. Known and loved as someone who pretty much can’t stop dancing once she starts, it was only a matter of time before she channeled this endurance behind the decks.  Whether sending stargazers into the ether with her ambient selections or getting hearts and bass thumping on the dancefloor with her minimalistic techno sets, Kim brings a bewitching tenderness to her DJ-ing that quickly caught the attention of the Belgian scene.

With the tenacity of a historian deep in an archive, she’s had a near-prolific output of thoughtful, studied radio mixes since 2019 (Refuge Worldwide FM, WAV, Radio Sofa) and an interesting club & festival schedule (Waking Life, Horst Arts & Music, Paradise City, Listen! Festival, Funke, …).

Championing a sound both rugged and trance-inducing, Porto-based Brazilian producer Marcal clocks in this week with two hours blending future-proof warehouse rave material and claustrophobic 4x4 maneuvers. Hot on the heels of his latest ’Nature of the Future’ EP on Donato Dozzy and Neel’s imprint Spazio Disponibile, Marcal takes us on a mind-bending ride down raucous sine-scapes and brooding, verbed-out atmospheres, constantly pushing the envelope of techno as can be experienced these days. Resuming its course as a means for transcending our (currently much gloomy) zeitgeist, techno here gets back on its revolution-friendly tracks, finding its second breath as a metamorphic tool for blazing new paths and routes towards a better, more intelligently designed world. There goes a mix that summons the very finest of Marcal’s boundary-pushing vision and killer knack for crafting memorable and emancipatory floor narratives. Brace yourselves.
