This new project unites the distinct sounds of Ferguson's alter egos, Nomine and Outrage, marking 12 and 25 years in the industry, respectively. "Tribal Jungle" is a bold fusion of Nomine's deep, ethnic vibes with Outrage's heavy drum & bass and jungle rhythms. The series kicks off with three tracks that blend tribal drums, classic breakbeats, ethnic elements and BASS, showcasing Ferguson's ability to innovate across genres. This release is a milestone, combining decades of Ferguson's expertise into a unique musical experience. "Tribal Jungle" invites listeners to explore the convergence of two signature sounds in one.

Who better to launch the new Samurai affiliate Jungle label Mindgames than the Future Retro general and Jungle machine Tim Reaper.

The two tracks on Tim's Mindgames 12" were the seed for the inception of the Mindgames label. Phonetics is unfiltered Amen Euphoria, with Tim's edits deftly embellishing the vocal earworm, while Changing Times wraps an ensemble of classic breaks around a pulsing b line.

Experiencing this musical development as it happened lit a flame of passion and drive that forged a focused musical path that continues unabated today.

94/95 were pivotal years for Jungle with new approaches to production and musical shades that shaped how the music progressed. Light and Dark musical hues were working side by side more frequently in these years as the music found its way, and Mindgames will reflect this.

With the resurgence of artists absorbing this sound and creating updated versions with added production finesse, Mindgames mission is to enlist current-day producers who have successfully captured and reimagined the vibe and feel of these years into new forms that underline the foundation of our sound.

Samurai Music regular Eusebeia was enlisted early as one of the prime technicians to be part of the Mindgames squad. Seb understood the brief implicitly and swiftly came up with the three tunes that make up MINDGAME 2.
