Earthspace has dived deep into numerous new processes to find futuristic sounds and has come out the other side with an amazing new album that is going to turn heads and shake the foundations !  

'In Medias Res' is packed full of the classic Earthspace funky and powerful grooves, and his amazing psychedelic sound sorcery, plus a more varied palette of influences has crept in and helped create a special  album that is filled with surprises.  Deep-and-mysterious atmospheres catapult to uplifting-and-funky peaks, dark-and-brooding moments shift to gentle-and-life-affirming throbs all with the greatest of ease, and set in an unmistakable Earthspace style.  

Taking the album title from the latin expression 'In Medias Res' (meaning : 'in the midst of things' or 'into the middle of things'), and using it as a partial explanation for the process of which he stopped and started the creation of the album over the last few unsteady years, 'In Medias Res' shows an artist that is not scared to take risks during a time when music is so formulaic.  Deep psychedelia is peppered with other worldly melodies, while hip-hop and reggae vocals dart over infectious grooves, not to mention the haunting beauty of the closing title track that features live recorded instruments drifting over a Dub groove. 

Included in the album is one collaboration (with the maestro Martian Arts) plus a remix of a legendary Man Made Man track for some extra spice.

'In Medias Res' gives us a glimpse of a true artist at work, pushing the boundaries of his art and his genre, trying new things and raising the bar!

The Visitors EP is a transcendent tour of Flour’s auditory cosmos and fascinating inner world, essential for all lovers of hard techno’s trancier moments, it finds itself perfectly at home in EXHALE’s cutting edge catalogue.

Kicking off the EP, which he describes as ‘a four-track journey exploring identity and transformation’ is the darkly beguiling ‘Mystery Land’, where pummeling kicks and trancey pads take us into hyperspace as we are drawn into ‘the discovery of an unknown dimension’. The closing chapter of this epic sonic journey is delivered by ‘Eternals’, ‘a timeless, introspective echo’ that invites us to consider the ‘other side’ as a limitless space within. Trancey and pumping, haunting vocal samples and pads give the track an ethereal edge, while the constancy of the kick keeps our feet on the ground (and moving).

Flour - Visitors (snippet)

Conwerter is one of my all time favourite artists, especially the track "Crazy People". When I heard there is a remix of that track i was sceptical, because to my mind the original is close to perfection. 
After listening to the incredible work the greek duo "Purple Shapes" did with remixing that track it was more than clear that i needed this track for my upcoming VA!
It is a combination of a crystal clear full-onish production combined with night style elements..
Keep an ear out for these two, they rock big time!
