Patronus Podcast #60 - Forest Fairy

The "Boogie Knight" is the Psytrance project of Mihaly Lippai from Hungary also known as Dr. Space, a resident DJ of Ozora festival. He learned and played traditional South African music for years, and started his musical career in a psychedelic band on the percussions and FX instruments. In 2016 he joined Forestdelic Records as a label DJ and released his debut EP “Straight outta Space'' in 2020. His style fits the underground dancefloor for day and night time, with funky basslines, tight grooves, percussive synth polyrhythmic elements, and a touch of cathartic deep melodies. This set is recorded live on his debut in Goa at Forestdelic Records 10 Years Anniversary party by 3rd Eye Events in February 2023.

The winter solstice (or hibernal solstice), also known as midwinter, occurs when one of the Earth's poles has its maximum tilt away from the Sun. The winter solstice is the day with the shortest period of daylight and longest night of the year, when the Sun is at its lowest daily maximum elevation in the sky. Since prehistory, the winter solstice has been seen as a significant time of year in many cultures, and has been marked by festivals and rituals. It marked the symbolic death and rebirth of the Sun.
