Passion, dedication and hard work - Kosenprod is a label which is all about these things and more. Created back in 2011, the label is known to cross boundaries between bass music, techno and drum & bass, with a diverse roster of artists and producers all with an eye and an ear for creativity and sincerity. 

One such artist is The Clamps. Graduating from techno, to breaks and trance, to d&b, the producer values everything hard and extreme, taking his influences and creating something new. All of this is showcased on the new release, the Aekon EP. 

Aekon is stunning. Right from the intro, all the way through the track, The Clamps means business. Slowly building up, the producer adds layers of sounds, from the complex and involving drum work through to bass and percussion. Things drop down quickly, with booming, punchy beats and attitude-filled background. Engaging, serious and ever-so addictive, this one is set to be huge. Take a trip through the known universe and beyond with The Clamps. 

Powerful rhythms correspond with the melody tracks and creepy movie samples top things off. Clubs are going to explode whenever Aekon gets dropped, guaranteed. Make sure you don’t hesitate, get involved now. 

The flip, S&A, follows a similar path, A cinematic opening leads into a build up which is emotional and awe-inspiring. Echoes of melody are torn down as the amazing main section shows The Clamps as a musician who doesn’t believe in half measures. It’s all on the line on S&A. Electricity bristles across the mix, as S&A is revealed as a true slice of tech-influenced drum & bass genius. 

Don’t turn away for a second as things heat up again, showing off the full range of The Clamps’ talent. The Aekon EP is another huge release for Kosenprod, further ensuring their place at the very top. Essential.

Tendrils of this prehistoric demon’s soul wrapped themselves around those who made the discovery – entrancing, captivating and compelling them with its dark story from the deep past. It is a tale that runs eternal, an account of the deepest savagery of nature - a conflict that has spilled across every conscious being and drives the endless cycle of life.
 
EATBRAIN channel a tale of a forgotten age through the unique minds of SEGMENT & CONCEPT VISION and their MAMMOTH EP. Featuring 4 precisely engineered cuts of audio that reach into the fraught and fractured core of existence and tear deep grooves into those who listen. VINTAGE opens the EP with luscious dub-driven pads and undulating tones that drop into a shifty and tight neurofunk banger, punctuated by pitched vocal stabs. RADIANT tears up the dance with a strobing and sweeping bassline, backed with a beautiful yearning melody and soft arpeggios. The title track of the EP MAMMOTH takes careful aim before striking a series of brutally syncopated blows, before HEIST takes down the rave in a flood of sirens leading to a stepper with an eminently catchy hook and deep, driving vibe.

NEUROPUNK RECORDS takes a retrospective for their latest release, reimagining a selection of tracks from their past releases for the first entry in their NEUROPUNK REMIXED series. Featuring original tracks drawn from the catalogues of NEUROPUNK RECORDS heavyweights including Mizo, Gydra, & Teddy Killerz, and reimagined by Joe Ford, Levela, & Crissy Criss, NEUROPUNK REMIXED V1 delivers a trio of tracks that span a wide portion of the Drum & Bass world for the label’s first such collaborative effort. 

JOE FORD steps up first to add his spin to MIZO’s sinister MECHANICAL PAW, wherein he wastes no time in unleashing an unending torrent of lashing low end frequencies that send the already furious track into an expertly overdriven frenzy. Next comes LEVELA’s remix of GYDRA & TEDDY KILLERZ’ track MILES HIGH from the label’s standout first release. Playing up the tracks funk fueled flow, the stripped back swagger of LEVELA’s signature style shines through to create a deviously dirty down low groove driven by the original’s unmistakeable vocal sample. CRISSY CRISS then takes on TEDDY KILLERZ’ MUTATION for the EP’s final remix, holding nothing back as he experiments on the track’s already massive basses to create devastating reeses and electrified stabs alike as he synthesizes a new form further befitting of its name.

With NEUROPUNK REMIXED V1, NEUROPUNK RECORDS showcase the full breadth of their label’s scope as they invite three pioneering artists to reinterpret a selection of the label’s most notable tracks.
