Founded in 2011, the French label has continued to push the sounds which have made the underbelly of drum & bass thrive in recent years. And they’ve hosted a wide range of talent, whether that be emerging newcomers or the scene’s more prominent figures, including heavyweight names such as Signs, The Clamps, TR Tactics and Nickbee. This year is beginning to look even bigger for both the label and its artists, having searched cyberspace for the most up and coming fresh sounds the genre has available.

Jam Master Jim is a Jungle \ Drum & Bass DJ who is also a producer of various styles of music, but again, mainly Jungle \\ Drum & Bass is his chosen style to play with.


His DJing career, he bought his first set of decks in the late summer of 2006, upgraded to Technics & a Pioneer mixer in 2007 and was DJing in clubs in 2008. Starting in Lincoln with some DJ competitions and landing a residency with a long running, established Drum & Bass night and then building his way to running his own night called "White Rooms presents" with some mates in his home town of Boston, Lincolnshire.

White Rooms went from strength to strength to start with. Its early days were spent in a pub in the town centre on Thursday nights, then the event went to a small club on the outskirts of town organising various styled nights on the weekends by teaming up with several other local DJ's.

One major event for White Rooms was when Shy FX & MC System came to town. Shortly after that White Rooms got offered a monthly event at one of Boston's main clubs in the town centre which is where things really kicked off. Packing the place month after month and giving the general club goers something completely new to listen and dance to. It was a real buzz for the members of White Rooms. Another marker point for the group was booking the Jungle legend Nicky Blackmarket.

Things sadly came to an end for White Rooms though and its members concentrated on their solo bookings.

Jam Master Jim has had several bookings on line ups with people such as Shy FX, Nicky Blackmarket, Kenny Ken, EZ Rollers, DJ Friction, Simon Bassline Smith, Drumsound, Bryan Gee, Brockie, J. Majik, DJ Sappo, Majistrate, RV, Logan D, Taxman, Garry K, MC Eksman, Remarc just to name a few.

A major highlight in his DJing was playing at Alchemy Festival in 2015 (which is now called Equinox Festival). He was selected to play in between the headline acts which was personal legends and Old Skool masters Rat Pack and then Ed Solo to follow. A true honour to be put in between these great artists.

Jim has also mixed with many Lincolnshire based up & coming DJ's and seen a lot of talent in the area.

DSCI4 is a pioneering Techstep label, known for its dark, futuristic soundscapes.

I started djing in 1998 getting turned onto the rave scene by likes of Dj Silpher,  Rowdy Faust, and Dan Craig, Lords of Acid....working at the wherehouse music in salem, oregon from 1996-1997 i got exposed to more electronic music and producers, Nine Inch Nails, Morcheeba, Bjork are among some of my early influence, and finally Dara in 1997 that changed my life.......


              and then it was off to Eugene, Oregon to attend UofO in the dorms in 1998 where LizardKingproductions was formed and threw several well documented productions between 1999-2002 in Eugene, working with Stylus grooves aka Jason dj Silver, with stylus systems.In 2006 i through "Communion" a small outdooor party in Eugene, Oregon with Dj Tek from Roseburg, Oregon....I started throwing parties and spinning at shows with Justin Down aka DJ Getdown in 2007, The rabbits tail and Boom Box in the boon dox the 1st original parties..lol..


            In 2018 i met Kurt Gluck aka Kurt Submerged who is one the best DnB producers in the world and currently lives in Berlin, Germany working on his craft, he inspired me in ways he will never know....I also got in touch with Monolog aka Mads who is one of my favorite producers,,,,i spin his stuff all the time lol.....big ups guys....Live well.     Music was a part of his life from the very beginning. Being exposed to all styles of music as a child, from motown, to classic rock, to the early years of Hip Hop, it’s no wonder he has such passion for finding and sharing new, and different music. He started preforming when he was 4, playing the piano. He found electronic music in ‘95, and from the start fell in love with Jungle. Wanting to share his findings, the next logical step was to start DJing, and by ‘97 was playing at Plush, and The Infinity Soundstage, as well as other clubs around Baltimore. Since then, he’s played from Va. To Pa., for comapnies like B.A.D.ass Raves and 3D Productions, and won some contest along the way too. He’s put out a number of mixtapes, starting back when they were tapes, and still going to this day with his digital mixes.

    His sets share with the crowd sick, drum edits, and filthy basslines, but most of all, soul! You may catch him rinsin’ out the hottest ragga track or the newest Hip Hop remix, and the next time he’s vibin’ with some smooth dubstep, and liquid DnB. He’s a vinyl junkie, so he’s got tons of classics to throw into the mix too. Years of practice has perfected his craft, so he can flip the style at the drop of a dime. You won’t know what’s comin’ next, but be sure it’ll flow.
