SUIT is a raw and vigorous act in its rawest form. With four years of work behind the curtain it is finally time to gaze through the looking glass. The bands debut-album is vast, dark, loud. It's part crossover-pop, part enthralling folk and part blistering blues, a hard-edged trip of murky and fuzzy rock. These four musicians skillfully go berserk with their instrument of choice while always putting the good of the song ahead of showing off. They manufacture some absolutely hair-raising moments and sounds throughout the album, carefully embracing its delicate moments and then hitting you in the face with intense drive. With a vast load of unreleased material up their sleeves we’re sure in for more surprises within the coming months. But as for now, this salient debut-album will make you want to get really high, have sex in a strangers car, set it on fire and run off into the woods laughing.

"Indie Mages" is a podcast about Indie Video Games. We play and discuss games that aren't in the media spotlight as much as the big studio games.

What are "Indie Mages" you ask? Well, we'll tell you! "Indie Mages" is a couple of dudes with a penchant for video games and all things geek (aka: cool stuff). We, like a large portion of the populus, love talking about video games. So... we decided to start our own podcast about video games. Right now you're thinking, "that's the most unoriginal idea I've ever heard." Well, you've got some attitude, Mister! Besides, our podcast is SPECIAL! 

"Indie Mages", unlike most other video game podcasts, is dedicated to indie video games and smaller video games developed by triple-A developers. So you won't find us waxing philosophical about big franchises like Assassin's Creed, or Halo, or Uncharted. But, if one of those developers releases a title that is more niche and places a greater emphasis on artistry, then we'll probably talk about it in substantial detail. We'll discuss all facets of the game; from mechanics, to story, to sound, to visuals.

Now, we are well aware that some of the best indie titles out there are only available on PC. Full disclosure: We don't own or play on PC's...yet. That may change eventually but, for the time being, many of the games we'll be discussing will be on the major consoles(PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One) and iOS(occasionally).

From the start, Son Lux has operated as something akin to a sonic test kitchen. The Academy Award® and BAFTA-nominated band strives to question deeply held assumptions about how music is made and reconstruct it from a molecular level. What began as a solo project for founder Ryan Lott expanded in 2014, thanks to a kinship with Ian Chang and Rafiq Bhatia too strong to ignore. The trio strengthened their chemistry and honed their collective intuition while creating, releasing, and touring six recordings, including Brighter Wounds (2018) and triple album Tomorrows (2021). The result is a carefully cultivated musical language rooted in curiosity and balancing opposites that largely eschews genre and structural conventions. And yet, the band remains audibly indebted to iconoclastic artists in soul, hip-hop, and experimental improvisation who themselves carved new paths forward. 

Distilling these varied influences, Son Lux searches for equilibrium of raw emotional intimacy and meticulous electronic constructions. Son Lux scored A24’s Best Picture winner Everything Everywhere All at Once for which they were nominated for two Academy Awards and a BAFTA. The full score album features new collaborations with Mitski, David Byrne, Randy Newman, and Moses Sumney, among others.
