Fanatical Eclecticist with a special favour for World Music in general, most specifically for Dance Music from around the globe, such as Salsa, Champeta, Soukous, Naija, Kuduro, Bhangra, Balkan Beats, Baile Funk etc....

Inspired by folkloric rhythms of the Afro-Caribbean diaspora, Badinba creates modern music that is firmly rooted in tradition. 

Our Mission is to inspire, heal and improve the quality of life for those in need with the creative process of art. With our health endeavor Art + Health Lab, we are addressing what it means To Be Whole. The core of our being relies upon good health – mental, physical and emotional. The World Health Organization defines good health as “a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” 

In an artistic nod to the core of all the beautiful women (sisters, mothers, grandmothers, daughters, aunts), Project HOPE Art is proudly continuing our health endeavor Art + Health – Project Pap Smear aligning conversations with medical professionals.

Brothers and compatriots, the members of El Imperio banded together following two years of performing together with the smash hit Tony Award-winning show Fela!, about the life and times of African music icon and activist Fela Kuti. Bringing a mix of styles from Afrobeat to Bachata, from Soul to Salsa, the band has created an intoxicating style all their own.
