badlanguage is a London-based recording artist representing a lost generation surrounded by insecurity, technology and misdirection. His work reflects on personal experiences and he is the sole creator of all of his work, leaving it exclusively uncensored and unfiltered. He is recognised by his trademark elf ear and is currently working on an album exploring themes of pressure across his life, with the goal of connecting to those that may not want to talk explore their own pressures yet. He has been writing and producing his own music since he was a child and always knew this was where life was going to take him, even if it wasn’t always the easiest route. His inspirations range across a span of genres and personalities, from iconic noughties Russian duo t.A.T.u. to heartbroken Swedish songstress Lykke Li and extending to the electronic excellence of Goldfrapp and so, so many more in between. His first release was instantly picked up by BBC Introducing, where they described instant ear worm Bad Memories as a “stand out from the pile”. He is releasing a follow up to 2020’s ABCD - EP in the Spring of 2022, EFG - EP, where he will embark on his first performance circuit before unleashing his debut album near the end of 2022.
