The Kaptivators are a Manchester based collective with funk and rhythm in their bones! Their sound is an eclectic mix of hip-hop, soul, electro and dub. Uplifting themes and social commentary form part of their story, the strong live set-up will rock you!

Blackholestars are a New Zealand Indie Rock Band from Christchurch, formed in 2019. Members include David Deakins, drummer from internationally acclaimed New Zealand Dub band, Salmonella Dub, Richard Grist (guitar/vocals) and Greg Mannering (Bass). 
The South Island of New Zealand has long been ripe for exploration by local artists and musicians.  The three-piece Christchurch band, Blackholestars, have drawn on their own experiences for their Debut 8 track album, Halfway Home.  The album was recorded at Audio-Centric Studios in Christchurch, under the watchful eye of producer/Engineer Ian McAllister, an old school friend of the Guitarist and Drummer.  They took pride in creating an authentic late-70s/mid-80s sound, with vintage guitars, microphones and other retro equipment.  Their sound is built on the foundations of Rock, a bit raw, but with a touch of Kiwi originality.
The alt-rockers influences include Jets to Brazil, Public Image, The Clash, The Jam, The Buzzcocks, Iggy Pop, The Hoodoo gurus and The Pixies.  Singles are being released prior to the album release throughout 2020.

Somebody Do Something provides a unique musical flavour with their instrumentation: sax, violin, guitar, bass, drums, percussion, powerful husky vocals from lead singer Marlee Fay, and lush harmonies from the rest of the band. Delivering a pop-funk-dance palette, they get crowds moving.

Bad Llamas is following
