We Are The Union - Ordinary Life

3 cover songs I did for Jen as part of a pseudo-proposal to her, and a lazy reentry into recording. It's been >5 years since recording and playing regularly, and the steep atrophy in the duration was painfully apparent. I opted for three, simple/straightforward songs to cover; even then, it was a STRUGGLE. I've never felt particularly lucid with recording previously, but this was a whole new level of incompetence ;) Also, I can barely manage to play the guitar passably nowadays, let alone drum, sing moderately in tune, etc; it is what it is. In any case, I committed to getting these three songs finished quickly without over thinking things, so they're really vanilla and primitive, but it was nice to complete *something* musically -- however slapdash. Not necessarily representative of any direction per se, but at this point I'm just trying to get comfortable with the whole "Perfect is the enemy of good" thing :)
