A culmination of over 6 years worth of work, this album consists of every track that I've released since the start of my musical journey as Bad Tango in 2011, to my Gene Sequence EP which was released at the very end of 2017. It is my absolute pleasure to be able to share my entire back catalog with you all just before the release of my first ever full length album, 'ILK', as a 'name your price' download. Almost every track in this collection is available in full wav quality, so whether you're playing them out or listening to them at home, I hope you get as much joy from them as I have over the years. And if you can spare a few pennies for these tracks then please do, as every penny coming my way helps me continue making squiggles. But if you can't, then honestly don't sweat it. His style is pretty freakin awesome and he's been getting a lot of attention recently for producing heavy hitting breaks tracks with crazy sound design and the original to this is no exception. So when I was asked to do the remix I didn't pay any attention to what the track was called, I just heard a sample and pretty much accepted it straight away. It was only a month or so later when I started the remix that I realised what it was called and thought "Oh shit, 'Welcome to the future'... If i screw this remix up then the future's not going to sound that great" ;)  

So I did my best and evan gave it a 4 to the floor break down in the middle, which is something I haven't done in years! Anyway, i'm ranting a bit now... I really hope you guys enjoy It, if you do then please share and leave comments and what not :)

Too Dusty - Welcome To The Future (Bad Tango Remix) [OUT NOW!]

This track was made during the summer of 2010 and was heavily inspired by the music of progressive psy trance artist Sensient, owner of pioneering Australian Psy label 'Zenon records'. This tune took a total of about 2 weeks to make, and the climactic point of the track involved practically every electronic process i knew of at the time. Hopefully the 'hog' will soon be rustling some hedges at an outdoor party near you :)

This one is a lot different to my usual sort of style in that its very progressive and quite melodic... and i decided to put a sort of slap bass style funk solo in the middle of it :-S

This guy has been becoming one of my favourite producers in the tech-funk and breaks scene recently, hes got a great style and a really nice blend of minimalism crossed with techy psychedelia. I highly recommend checking his stuff out! :D

This track took an unusually long time to write as i'd laid out the structure for it quite early on in the creation process. I tried so many different variations on that last section before actually sticking with something I was satisfied with, but i'm really happy with the way it came out! :)

I've been wanting to get this one out there for aaaages, because at the time i wrote it i genuinely thought it was the best track i'd ever written. Anyhoo i'll let you decide, I really hope you enjoy it! Please share if you do :D

Bad Tango is the electronic music project of UK based producer Will Railton.
