Los Angeles-based DJ and artist BAE BAE brings us her debut EP Spiral, a sentimental exploration of the intersection between club music and R&B. Fusing elements from Miami Bass, jungle, and various flavors of House, she creates lavish compositions centered around the human voice, working with seductively chopped up samples as well as original guest vocalists AKUA and Asphodèle. Made as a means for her to deal with the current absence of nightlife, these six tracks were designed to help channel the physical spaces we all long to dance in during these strange and isolating times of social distancing. -Dave Quam
