Baguette Magique returns with four original tracks produced by Madrid’s own @ba_bu, who shares with us a beautiful and timeless piece of work.

“The Chamber”, a perfect intro to the electric energy of the record with a mischievous bass line, laser sounds and trippy chopped-off vocals from video game Halo that welcomes you literally into’s Babu’s universe.

“Play My Game” which shares the same name of the EP as we consider it to be the center piece of the record. A timeless electro gem, cut for the club and for the after hours. 
The beautiful deep bass, malicious synths and ominous robotic voices are genuine and powerful. 

The Madrid based producer keeps on giving bangers for the club on the flip side with “Radio Transmission”.

The electricity is tangible in this hybrid track between Minimal, Techno and Electro topped off with glitchy FX and looped vocals. 

We conclude the ride with the lovely retro house track “Alpedrete House”. The deeper and groovier sounds make it the romantic cut from the record to dance and maybe fall in love on the dance floor.

For our 7th original release we welcome our good friend David Agrella, alongside Kompo on remix duties.

David’s a producer with a fast growing reputation and a label of his own, Agrellomatica. The label’s gathered support from a number of respected DJ’s such as Jane Fitz, Laurent Garnier, Ivan Smagghe, Francesco Farfa, Enzo Siragusa, Moxie, Ciel, Massimiliano Pagliara and we’re pleased to welcome him on Seven Hills.

The Kom Dansen EP is one of David’s darker EP’s, blending together thick growling basslines and atmospheric, psychedelic samples. 4 tracks made purely for the dancefloor, all driven by a phat 909 kick, this is music for late night sessions.

Deseo drives through twists and turns with a grooving bass, precise funky drum patterns, and a vocal recorded by the man himself. Kom Dansen hits you with a huge belly bassline, while taking you on a trip on the night train, deep into the wormhole, with an ever building momentum.

Sabotage Signals is similarly growling and deep, with spooked out synth sounds, and unsettling pad action, while Kompo’s version strips everything back, and switches up the bassline into a real wrist snapper.

SlapFunk Records strikes again with a solo EP by none other than Huerta. While having released a wide variety of music with a strong own identity, it’s fair to say that he fully incorporated the SlapFunk vision on this one. Even though all 5 tracks have a different character, they all share the same energetic beats specially designed for the dancefloor. This reflection is clearly the core of the artwork made by Firpo a.k.a. Freshcore. On the other hand, the graphic design by Studio Airport truly does justice to the the work of both Huerta and Firpo it deserves. Huerta his strong musical and intelligent identity, makes him one to keep an eye on closely.
