As much as I value subjective creativity in my art, I also value the suggested subjectivity of the interpretation of what my art can create in others’ minds, which is why, as an artist, I don’t wish to be the chemist or teacher who exemplifies in depth what I meant in each line. But to briefly mention: this song is about inclusivity and the positivity love can bring, and it does so by pushing the negative stereotypes based on gender or expected societal roles, instead of focusing on what is human aside. It’s an anthem to remind all of us that our identity, our perspective, and our love matter, whoever we are. It’s about stories that may not always be understood easily by everyone, with messages about why external validation should never be the center of love. It’s about the exclusivity of inclusivity. It’s fun. It’s uplifting. It’s to inspire you to use the most important word in all languages with no fear, no shame, or hesitation: “love!”

It’s about that feel-good touch, yet is it really good though? Or does the touch mask what is not spoken? It’s the second version in God to Touch series, which is also part of Boys Love Boys single series and carries those themes in my upcoming album canNOT.

It’s about self-awareness, shared care, expressed love, confidence, bold brilliance, and courage. Plus, it’s one of the tracks that will take its special place in my upcoming album titled canNOT.

It’s not only distinct because of the aura it brings, but it’s also lyrically deeper. And it summons a haunting love in the moonlit space between light and sound. 
Let this track stay with you after the last beat fades, and celebrate! 🎃

“Annoyed Crier” is out everywhere!

This track blends hyper-pop, synth-pop, and experimental elements to tell the story of someone who glows but has lost their sparkle; someone who chose betrayal over facing their own growth. They cry not because they’re weak, but because they ignored their chance to heal. 

The cover and visuals are inspired by ’80s vintage thrillers and Harlequin romance: mystery, passion, bold hair, and more inclusivity. I wrote and performed the song, illustrated all the artwork, and created the visuals (as I always do) as I love using hand-drawn and painted techniques along with digital tools like Procreate and Artstudio Pro. While I respect creative uses of AI, I do not use it; my art is all me, Baha.

Baha Jarvis - Annoyed Crier

Fundamentally, “Word Garbage, Sent” tells a story of a ghost who doesn’t know they are a ghost; they’re just waiting for their crush to recognize that they exist. I wrote it two years ago when I felt really, really lonely. To me, it has lots of layers, yet I don’t make art simply for myself, which means how it communicates with you is what gives me the biggest joy. I also pushed some buttons, vocalized some things, but without my beautiful husband, my muse’s magic, it wouldn’t be possible, so thank you, Roge! And absolute genius Rob mastered it with love, for which I’m forever grateful!

 I’m at the point of my life where I can better understand the shades of punctuation marks, and some things are not replaceable, whereas others bring alternatives. Being an artist was never a choice for me because it is rooted in the answer to this question after all the traumatic experiences I’ve had since I was born: “Would you like to lose your mind or learn from your experiences to express yourself in creative ways?” So my songs and other forms of artistic expression come with the rawness of being human, complexity in the nuances, the depth that you may not always immediately realize, you might see it if you give yourself some time to think, and I’ve always truly loved art that I find relatable, because when I can’t relate, it does not feed my soul; I feel like I’m either being force‑fed or choked in the disengagement, where even misunderstanding does not give a definition enough for me to feel something, or anything.

Right now, this song means a lot of things for me; most likely they will shift and change, which is a neutral thing. I hope it can mean something for you too, and whatever that feeling is, it could make you feel seen and acknowledged, because overall, life isn’t short; often, time is.
