New installment in our digital series, this time delivered by portuguese sound sculptor Temudo with five cuts of advanced and funked techno.

Zoom back starts with phased toms over a continuous  sub bass line, until shuffled shakers and subtle synth elements grow from the low part of the spectrum. The random sequence takes over as minutes go by creating an asymmetrical feeling.

Tsigalko uses opaque metallic hits and again a heavy sub bass component as starting point. Different sonic elements fill the audio spectrum coming in and out of the arrangement wisely.

The Spiritual Song goes straight to the bone with spastik lika snare rolls running over a solid kick and bass foundation. The percussive orgy goes on and on until total mayhem.

Cranston uses more floaty elements and reverberated spaces to create a sci fi feeling. The sequences run through the stereo field adding dynamism and detail.

Duality closes the release with diverse drum layers skillfully programmed creating a sense of movement while being linear. As track 03, 90% of the sound elements are percussive making a perfect mixing tool for those who know.

Pulso makes his debut on Float Records with the brilliant spacey 5 tracker EP Vhudu. Vhudu, the opening track, contains an ongoing reverberated groove completed by subtle pads. Strike Mission, the second track continues the minimalistic approach by Pulse with deep space bleeps and a sliding synth. The Decline, the 3rd track, opens up with shifting hats, bleeps and an up and downwards going alarm system. Flammin Passion, the fourth one in line, is based on a percussive sequence, cheeky delays and a minimalistic bass. The closing track Dash Back is a message from outer Space.  Reverberated elements and a white noise morse code. Some gentle bleep complete the track.

It’s been a while now since dance music stopped suddenly and also it’s been a while since the Exium duo released stuff here at home. 

Héctor and Valentin have been busy in their studios during these uncertain days, extracting the best out of their minds and tools to create this four tracker.
If you are familiar with the Exium sound over the years, you can feel here a sort of comeback to their primitive roots.
The sound is harsher, more violent, the components are a chosen few but well standing in the mix, the rhythms are broken and twisted. Nothing easy for the ear.

If you push the boundaries like they do, there’s still hope in techno as a constantly new and risky journey. Totally the opposite of cloning what is done.

Ascendo relies on a broken kick surrounded by industrial noises and distorted textures. Merciless

Atheris uses again nonlinear drums as the basement, spicing the recipe with overdriven pads and abstract sonic elements.

Cyclotron is the only 4/4 cut here. A random square wave distorted synth line is the leitmotiv, joined by different layers of sonic components creating an aggressive scfi joint.

Low Pressure Discharge closes the release returning to abstract breaks as foundation, with metallic industrial hits on top.

This release is not for the tuff ones or the soft minded. Tradition and futurism all in one.

Token returns with the second instalment of Fuga.

Following on from Fuga I, which featured music from new and exciting talents alongside more established players within the genre, the label presents its next incisive entry.

Spread across eight tracks once more, the release continues in the same vein as its predecessor presenting a collection of reduced techno recordings in equal parts atmospheric as they are functional.

As a compilation the release develops gently - JRD's undulating workout Purple Blades opens proceedings, followed closely by Dutch Stalwart Deniro's crisp riser Silhouette. Sleek reduction Blush, courtesy of JSSL, continues this soft increase in intensity before ORBE's stylish, acid driven Motor opens things up properly into peak time territory. Argentinian Pfirter toys with big room kick drums and an outlandish rave lead on Cyclic Model, managing to deliver an occasionally misconceived combination with some considerable style - and Dustin Zahn turns in a compilation highlight with The Organ Trail, an incessant, heads-down workout. The Lady Machine keeps the energy up with Resilience, and Arthur Robert's closer Illegal Gatherings provides an off-kilter conclusion to the compilation release.

Fuga II provides a continuation of the motifs and constructions explored in the first entry, advancing them to some degree and introducing new characters to Token, whilst maintaining a sense of cohesion within the series itself, and the label as a whole.

Our daily life runs through parallel realities, hypothetical self-contained planes of existence, co-existing with one's own.
We are not able to have a second life, yet there is a second chance to live in a Parallel Reality. Another dimension that runs exactly aligned with the reality we are all living.

An object that symbolizes this concept is a Vinyl record, playing on a turntable. When one side is playing the other side is spinning together parallely with a different information, and is not possible to separate.

‘Parallel Reality’ is the first release of our Vinyl series (catalog's 7th release) and comes with 6 tracks from hypnotic and deeper to more weird, raw and intense cuts by Takaaki itoh, Cyklos, ASH, Temudo, Yanamaste & STNDRD.

The industrial ambience and individual elements are meticulously put together to form an organic phenomenon, one that defies reality and augments perception. Fulfilling grooves, leftfield textures and drive are condensed into a state-of-the-art release. Hayes Collective’s Nørbak contributes with a dancefloor-shredding remix of ‘Contatto’.

BAHN· is a Barcelona based Techno collective founded in 2017, organizers of events that combines an exclusive selection of international and national/local artists from the hypnotic techno scene. 

The events have been taking place in the some of the main clubs of the city such as Razzmatazz, Moog or LAUT, as well as international showcases at KHIDI (Tbilisi) and Suicide Club (Berlin).

BAHN· Records, collective's next step, was founded in the early 2020, releasing in physical & digital formats, and always illustrating what is the music concept of BAHN·.
