Esteban Angel is a Colombian DJ/Producer based in Melbourne, Australia, known for his infectious tech house beats and approachable personality. Formerly performing under the name Steve Baxter, Esteban’s journey into music began at sixteen in Medellin, where he taught himself to DJ using a simple Traktor controller and YouTube tutorials. Despite the challenges of limited resources and pursuing a passion against his parents' wishes, his dedication and love for music propelled him forward.

Seeking greater opportunities, Esteban moved to Australia, where his talent quickly earned him recognition in Melbourne’s vibrant club scene. Within a year, he was performing at some of the city’s most iconic venues, including New Guernica, Circus Bar, The Emmerson, and Love Machine. His dynamic sets not only captivated local audiences but also led to opportunities to share the stage with industry giants like Stefano Noferini, Andres Campo, Harry Romero, Tini Gessler, and many more.

In 2021, Esteban expanded his creative horizons by focusing on music production. His hard work paid off when he signed his first track with the renowned Spanish label Happy Techno, marking a significant milestone in his career. His music continues to resonate with audiences, leading to further releases on prominent labels like Tropica Records.

Beyond his success as a DJ and producer, Esteban is celebrated for his down-to-earth nature and commitment to the music community. He’s passionate about using music as a tool to connect people and create positive change. "We vibrate with music, and it's powerful enough to create and change feelings," says Esteban, a mantra that perfectly encapsulates his approach to his craft.

A penchant for spooky grooves and a lover of all BPMs, Caity's techno sets are surreal and tangible, defiant yet dependable, and blur the lines between hard groove, tribal, experimental, trance and pure dark psychedelia. With her clever layering, oscillating sounds, interesting percussion and her feminine edge, Caity never compromises on reliable, driving energy and danceable swing. 

A resident artist for Naarm record labels Anomalie Collective and Beaufort Beats, Caity has brought her unique style to iconic Naarm events like Melbourne Techno Collective, Plexus and Technoir, at top venues such as Revolver, Sub Club and My Aeon. 

Coming off the back of several recent headline shows including Black Noir (Sydney), 9NINETRAX (Gippsland), her curated hypnotic showcase (Belgrave), her first headline show (Naarm) as her dark/psy alias 'Fairy Ring', and her first 'All Night Long' show at Headquarters in Singapore, Caity has become a staple in the underground techno circuit.

Through her event series ‘150 BPM’ and ‘150% Live’, Caity focuses on platforming women & FLINTA* artists, spotlighting live hardware performers and nurturing those who seek community within her local scene. Caity is dedicated to inclusivity, advocacy, connection and music with purpose.
