El Hadji Dame Dieng, plus connu sous le nom One Lyrical est né à Guinaw Rails Nord dans la commune de Pikine, Dakar.
One a fait ses études primaires et secondaires à l’école Sanka située à Thiaroye. 
Il a commencé à rapper en 2013 avec un groupe du nom de Black Under. Mais en fin 2014 il a quitté le groupe pour suivre une carrière solo. Depuis il a signé avec le label Rep’Tyle Music basé à Thiaroye. 
One Lyrical a joué à pas mal de concerts sur Dakar, Rufisque, Thiés … et participé au Flow Up 2014 avec Rep’Team (tous les artistes de son label) ou ils étaient parmi les finalistes. 
Le nom One Lyrical vient du fait que très jeune il était bon footballeur, on l’appelait One pour dire le meilleur. Et en tant que rappeur il insiste sur les lyrics, c’est un lyriciste d’ou One Lyrical. 
Aujourd’hui One prépare des (projet) pour l’année prochaine.
