The release of Stiv Hey’s ‘Objects EP’ on SCI+TEC sees the young Italian achieve his next momentous musical milestone. The ‘Objects EP’ features a trio of tracks, each showcasing Stiv’s refined, dark grooves and accurate basslines. The sinister vocals of ‘Every Day, Every Night’ open the EP, backed by the atmospheric and hazy funk of ’Stoned To The Bone’. The beatless title track, ‘Objects’, is the perfect outro for the release and leads us into the regular SCI+TEC Tool collection. A must have for all DJs.

‚The Way Home’ takes it's time to build textures and layers creating a more somber mood. 

The EP is close out with the vocals of Eric Volta on ‚Sight’, perfectly complimenting the overall mood of the release.

"I am from Caracas, Venezuela; and in so many of all the history of all the Latin American countries I have visited so far (Mexico, Panama, Nicaragua, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Chile) I have seen the negative, lasting cultural impact of the Spaniard colonization to the indigenous people of all those places. Venezuela is no different, and since the Spanish dialogue at the end says: 

"The Incas had an extensive knowledge in Astronomy, Medicine, Mathematics, among many other things. But the Spaniard invaders had the gun powder... I wonder how America (the continent) would be today, if things had been different..." 

I have decided, that the name for my mix is: "Guaicaipuro" @illich-mujica 

P.S. Guaicaipuro [guʌʒkʌʒ'puro](c. 1530–1568)was a native (indigenous) Venezuelan chief of both the Teques and Caracas tribes. Guaicaipuro formed a powerful coalition of different tribes which he led during part of the 16th century against the Spanish conquest of Venezuelan territory in the central region of the country, specially in the Caracas valley."

In the modern psyche, time consists of smallest parts, or particles of time if you like, and there is no shorter period of time, the concept of time itself losing all meaning after that. The smallest time segment is called Planck time which is equal to 10^-44: just imagine 44 zeros after 1, which makes up the number of smallest particles of time in a single second. Just to give you grounds for comparison, the universe has lived millions and millions of times less amount of seconds in the 13.7 billion years of its existence than the number of time units in a second. That said, what is your unit of measuring life? Birth and death or the seasons of the year? The period of time from one memorable day to another, or maybe New Year which starts in less than a month? For us, e.g., every new podcast is a unit of measurement in itself, @dave-dinger being among the host of other elements that constitute time. And that’s perhaps the only unit of measurement no larger or smaller unit of which exists.
