No Nerve EP by Soa420 - with Einerlei, Ophélie & Parts Project remixes.

Bait is honoured to present Nantes-based DJ and producer Soa420’s debut EP, ‘No Nerve’. Soa uses doom-ambiances and chopped up vocal samples in an overall halftime spirit to entrance the listener into her unique trap, bass and dub-infused landscapes. Parts Project’s remix is undeniably one for the club: a pounding banger of an interpretation of ‘No Nerve’. Ophélie brings her experimental broken and textured take to ‘There’s Fire Inside You’, while Einerlei’s version breathes trance and dubby hypnosis.

Digging into heterogeneous influences with a wide range of intensities, Lia stands out with an unpredictable selection and a mischievous energy, with a strong penchant for futuristic bass, warped breaks and offbeat bangers delivered with razor-sharp precision, tinged with 90's to post-internet Rave sounds, all of witch plunges you into a harsh world of fantasy. This past year, she has released her track on labels such as Nehza, Hidden Rhythms, Jerry Horny, as well as Traverse, CAF, and played in November at the Positive Education Festival. Resident of the [re]sources label till the end of 2023 (and their show on Rinse radio), she released « Let In Sink » on their birthday compilation, and is now working on her forthcoming label. She is also the curator of the compilation 'Place: France' for the New York label Air Texture, on which she composed her first track, "United Taste”.
Her work as a producer also includes a track in collaboration with SNKLS on Club Late Music and another for the Lachrymose Rescue label.
