Paris Cesvette’s Celestial (My Journey Among Stars) is the audio memoirs of a producer and musician that from the very start has always been amongst great musical company.

A creative soul, born into a home where music was the currency; her inquisitive nature and desire for knowledge had her studying her father’s record collection, embracing her mother’s passion for music and then, what happened after that, is what we hear today.
Her vision of combining the sounds she lived for, with the music inside of her is finally represented in one physical work.

Each song on Celestial reflects a moment in Paris’s journey and every artist sings each song with a greater purpose.
On listening you will realise that every song was tailor-made for each star.
Paris believes that you get an artist at their best when you let them be the true artist they are.

Unclear Records offers a warm welcome to newcomer, multi- instrumentals and eighteen year old producer @coltremusic to its roster this April with his Parque Lage EP.

Title-track ‘Parque Lageʼ opens, with dusty jazz samples, warm rhodes, gritty rhythms and modulating bleeps perfectly showcasing Coltreʼs smooth and hypnotic style from the very beginning. The remix from Tusk Wax / ANMA Records / Cognitiva artist @sofa-talk follows, adding a more insistent drum groove and wandering, jazzy synth licks throughout whilst storing the immersive essence of the originalʼs deep aesthetic.

‘Makisʼ is up next, laying focus on stuttering synth chords, airy pads, squelching 303 acid lines and loose rhythms before ʼHello Taupeʼ closes the package on a dropped-tempo tip fuelled by shimmering chords, resonant licks, rumbling sub bass and off-kilter drums.

Well, this is different… Fourth Kind the self titled mini album on Omniverse Records. It’s hard to pinpoint a genre with records like this; produced by Marc Mac of 4hero and similar to some of the 4hero output, it defies genre and fits somewhere in-between many. The production is heavily reliant on synthesisers and vintage drum machines in places but is full of real life and organic movements, this is partly down to the signature drums played by Luke Parkhouse. The only other guest spot is filled by Nu Jazz Funker Pascal Strauss aka Luman Child who plays bass guitar on “Take Me To Your Sky” which along with “Afterglows” are the closest we get to dance tracks, in most parts a 70s fusion feel is present. The short interlude type tracks are just as important and I would go as far as to say vital to telling the story.  Moogs, Arps and Solina strings weave patterns throughout, all in all, across the 10 tracks the album is a journey of mood and emotions.  Limited Edition 180g Pressing. Released 17th September 2018.
