Pleasantry was conceptualized and formed in late 2010. Recycling musicians from active as well as inactive bands, the quintet crafts and carves music out of each member’s disparate listening backgrounds. Drawing inspiration from dreamed-up scenarios based on real-life scripts, compositions showcase simple lyrical tones offset by the accompaniment of rich instrumentation and varied song structures.

PandaMachine is the moniker for musician Eugene Soh. He is a guitarist, singer, composer, producer and sound/mix engineer based in Singapore. Eugene began playing the guitar at age 13 and early discovered his liking for progressive rock and experimental music. Five years later he founded the Indie Post-Psychedelic Rock band Bakers In Space, in which he is the lead singer and guitarist for. Eugene soon after started attending the Lasalle College of the Arts BA(Hons) Electronic Music programme and expanded his love for electro-acoustic and musique concrète style compositions and sound installations. He is now pursuing his final year at Lasalle where he is continues to explore extended playing techniques with guitar, synthesisers and effects. He has since used the new found knowledge in his compositions with both Bakers In Space and his solo works.
