Self taught multi-instrumentalist looking to make 1000 types of psychedelic music.

I am a self taught musician that simply tries to stay busy with art and music. I play everything on these recordings except drums, its either Phil Petty or i programmed them. Although if you hear a good electric guitar solo, it is probably Eric Davis or Dustin Booth. I'm interested in a wide range of styles, but i don't ever really try to create in a certain style. It just comes out however it's going to come out. I always seem to be in a rut of being able to write sad folk songs (none of which are on here!), and i always strive to make more heavy music, but instead it all comes out to be some amalgamation of psychedelic rock. 
           Numerous Ancient creation myths have the universe being formed from sound. They were really onto something. It wasn't just the Pythagoreans who viewed the movements of the cosmos, music, mathematics, numerology, and geometry, as all being different representations or embodiments of the same concepts and principles. Vibration, gravitation, ratios, relationships and patterns. All physical and mental structures have analogs in the spiritual and metaphysical realms. As above, so below. Internal - external, a constant reciprocation.
            Musical improvisation is one method to be directly in touch with these universal patterns through the unconscious mind. It is like working from inside these beautiful unwritten truths, to birth some transient 'replica', that our feeble senses can only slightly grasp. Just enough to feel the power of these unseen realms.
            Once an artist or musician creates or manifests one of these cosmological emanations, and it is momentarily bound to some tangible medium of the senses, it is not theirs anymore. It now belongs to the world. Just as all breath and water is recycled amongst all the creatures of the planet, the song is now fodder for the hearts and minds of all within its reach.
