When Max and Alex packed up for their trip to Berlins club scene in 2017, little did they know that it was this moment when both of them deeply connected with techno and all its diverse facets. From then on the mission was clear, they spend a few months locked away in their studio to get familiar with the sounds and to experiment with different instruments in order to turn their ideas into solid, powerful songs that work on the dance floor.

These first steps resulted in the founding of live act and DJ duo Fabula Rasa. The language their tracks speak is obvious — bridging dark, vibrating basslines packed up with atmospheric elements and hard-hitting percussions that are craving for more. Mysterious, yet tension-filled.

Max and Alex's friendship was sealed when they first crossed paths in a studio. Since that moment, the inseparable duo has dedicated countless weekends to immersing themselves in diverse musical genres, shaping the ethos of Exit Coda: to create cross-media art that serves as a platform for emotional expression and human connection.

Exit Coda's music speaks a language that is unmistakably their own — a fusion of emotional, pulsating basslines infused with melancholic undertones and percussion that leaves listeners yearning for more. However, Exit Coda transcends mere music; it embodies a holistic concept that extends beyond the confines of a song's duration. It encapsulates the lingering essence that remains once the music ends — a profound feeling of resonance that reverberates long after the last note fades away.

In just a year, their talent caught the attention of industry giants like Lane 8, Sultan + Shepard, and Nora En Pure. A significant milestone came in 2023 when they released on This Never Happened, a feat rewarded with two placements on editorial playlists and over 2 million streams for 'Those Days' alone. Across all platforms, their music has amassed over 7 million streams, reaching playlists with a combined audience of over 13 million listeners — solidifying their presence in the industry for the long haul.

Max & Alex are driven by one mission: to bring the soul of Exit Coda to life on stages across the globe, inviting audiences to experience their music live in its purest form. With this goal in sight, the story of Exit Coda is set to unfold — this is only the beginning.
