Balamii 2

CURFEW is the first album of the italian pianist and composer Adriano Segreto, aka Greyman-K. 
It’s the work of the strong isolation conditions that afflicted all the countries and the city where he lives as well. The tracks are frequencies and simple sounds manipulated to get the most conscience and getaway at the same time. These ambientation often try to describe and dream far places from the one in which each one lives: “Stormy far east” it’s a clear example of that need, marked by the piano sounds that help the listener and the player itself to start talking to distant and silent areas of conscious; “Ego point”, an eight minute meditation about that precise level of consciounsess able to comprehend and enlight the world disappearing: it’s a defense against the scattering by reaching the ultimate and most intimate self point. 
The infinite possibilities of the synth-sounds manipulation and the recent approach to easy-modular machines get Greyman-k to long session of sound experiments like in “Rain upon the boulevard” or “Car battery died”, a ‘funny’ moment – as the composer remember – that could for sure happen to everyone but turned into a striking inability to solve the issue because was focused and attracted to the sound of the hard-earned car battery.
