Pure Space Records welcomes a newly emerging Naarm producer, Dividens with his EP ‘Blueprints’. Across four tracks Dividens masterfully guides us through the fringes of modern drum n bass, eerie Dub and restrained Jungle styles.

Flipping over to the B-side you find ‘Bionic’. Here luscious pads swirl amongst a deep sub bass rhythm before free-falling into stints of breakbeat. The ominous tone of the track is coloured by the disorienting vocals; lean in and let the bass hold your feet firmly on the ground.

Tracks written, produced and mixed by Dividens on Wurundjeri Land. Pure Space and Dividens both acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land and pay our respects to their elders past, present and emerging. Sovereignty was never ceded.

Dividens - Bionic

Label co-boss Pseudopolis touches down on Redstone Press for the third time. If you’ve heard the last two you know the drill.

Taking no prisoners from the outset, “High For Life” establishes the mood of the EP, combining unrelenting breaks, bouncing basslines and a big-room energy that acts like a pressure release after many nights making music with no clubs in sight, a track that doesn’t loosen its grip throughout.

“Euphoria Inc.” keeps the room at boiling point with Pseudopolis expertly fusing climatic rave energy, broken breakbeats and a murky Reece bassline into an equally euphoric yet foreboding warehouse tool.

“Haze Runner” continues with the ruffneck breaks but raises the bpms and dread level, sounding like something that would soundtrack your teenage weed psychosis or your current 6AMs spent in front of your favourite Jungle sound system’s bassbins. Speaking of bassbins…

We are delighted to welcome Eris Drew to the label under her new guise “Bassbin23”. Years of dancing, rejoicing and playing dusty warehouse raves have informed this rendition of “High for Life”, stripping it back to a fun filled 4x4 rave weapon. We couldn’t think of anyone better to do the first remix on the label, bigups to you Eris!

Control Freak are proud to present the debut EP from @memoryplay_music - the new alias and alter ego of Jo Kašpar, co-founder and resident of Bristol’s forward-thinking label and party series Dialogue.

After several years writing and performing as one half of duo @astryd_music, Jo’s new project sees them turn towards more personal, intimate and conceptual explorations. The result is a trio of bold, technoid soundscapes - with an emphasis on intricate, detailed sound design. Italian producer Pascal Nuzzo serves up some affirming vibes on the ‘Hold On’ single for R&S Records, evoking the sounds of classic rave and breakbeat dance in a fresh and contemporary style.

With his influences firmly rooted in the underground electronic movement, Nuzzo has forged a path with his music that has resulted in releases for labels such as Intacto, Primate Recordings and Phobiq.  

‘Hold On’ is featured on the forthcoming R&S Records album ‘In Order To Dance 4.0’, as the label celebrates its 40th anniversary with a show stopping multi artist project featuring Dino Lenny, Vromm, Insider and Saytek amongst others.

"The mix is inspired by my recent set at Field Maneuvers so anyone who was there might recognise a few bits off it! Really went for a go big or go home festival bangers set traversing across early 2000s tech house slammers, electroclash classics and early '90s hardcore belters.
