One of the thriving forces of the northern European electronic music scene, it's Steffan Todorović who is lined-up next for the art:cast series. As the founder and co-founder of Gestalt Records respectively Coymix Ltd, which Steffan runs with Timo Deeprhythms, the artist lets followers of the arts discover aspiring and renowned artists from the scene. It looks differently when it comes to his production project Abdul Raeva, where he specifically shares his own vision and approach of music together with his partner in crime Joonas, also known as Rashida Prime. The latest output was a contribution of the duo to Mint Tea's V/A Basic Contact alongside artists such as Zobol, Boulderhead and Toke and a track for Gestalt Records anniversary sampler, while in 2020 Steffan released music on Neptune Discs or Dance All Day Records among and others. Whether or not there's more music to come this year, the present has Steffan mixing and compiling a flawless art:cast covering fresh, older and upcoming bits of music viscerally put together to make you move through time and space, to get lost in the pads and stomp to lush bass lines.

Short sabbatical on the ol' mix series but we're back behind the wheel and straight into 5th gear with this flawless mix by Cardiff home gal Monoke (@monokedj). We've known Ellie for quite some time, and it's really great seeing the sound she's honed in on as a selecta develop over the years, and gee whiz has she impressed us with this one. This set is so well thought out and takes us on a proper journey through the endless realms of electronic music; whether it be ambient, downtempo, IDM, dub techno or electro, this mix has it all. Blessed!

We are very pleased to be bringing you the fourth instalment from our record label showcase, this time a Cardiff based event series and record label will be bringing the energy: Run by Rhodri, Thomas, and our host for this episode Eben... It’s the ‘Bside of… Haŵs’.

With ten imprints to their name, some digital compilations, and many more impressive releases in the works, this is a very exciting House Music label that showcases local and international talent alike. 
They have the likes of local legend Harrison BDP, Dawl, Adam Pits, and past guest Jad & The contributing to the discography, so you are in for a tasty treat. 
But the cherry on the cake is an exclusive glimpse into the Bsides of some future Haŵs releases… we can’t wait for these pressings!

We will be gently rising through synthy sounds and jazzy interludes, into drum machines and deep kicks, acid bass lines, break beats and spacey vibes.
