Bristol's Tramma blesses us with an hour of primed club tackle for our next podcast! A proper DJ's DJ, this geeza has got some tekkers, 60 minutes of bassy, UK flavoured dance-floor focused sonics to start your week right. 
We also caught up with him for a lil chat! Read below >

AM: Easy mate! What have you been up to recently? 

Ez now! Been a busy but good couple of months.. Work has been taking up a lot of time but still managing to get out and about plenty. I've been loving seeing Bristol open up again really, catching up with people, meeting some absolute legends and spending a lot of time down Mickey Zoggs!!

AM: Where & how did you record the mix & what was the idea behind it? A theme as such or? 

I recorded this mix at home in Bristol a couple of days ago using a Pioneer XDJ XZ and HS8s. It's a combination of tracks I've been feeling recently and less recent ones I hadn't yet found a place for until now. I guess I wanted to explore different energies and tempos while keeping things balanced between dubby textures and techy production styles...


AM: What have ya been digging and listening to recently?

Soooo much good music coming out recently, it's hard to pick anything out, but Simo Cell's YES.DJ release is up there with my recent faves, along with everything from Nicola Cruz and a new release from Tomás Urquieta on Insurgentes which is pretty lethal. Other than that, I've actually found myself listening to a lot more ambient and wonky dub techno/drum and bass crossover stuff... Really digging the latest output from Ido Plumes, Syz, DJ ojo and Yushh too. Not to mention all the other insanely talented producers and DJs I'm lucky enough to be surrounded with!!

AM: The mix is wickedddd, what’s the one stand out track in there for you and why? 

Thanks!! Tough question though, I really love all the tracks but if I had to choose it would probably be the Sid Quirk track 'Keep It Inside'. I love how melancholic the vibe is while being punchy and deep, and the breakdown gets me every time. It's also one that can hold its own at different tempos which makes it pretty versatile too. The whole release is amazing. Big up. 


AM: What's next for ya?

Slowly starting to come out of a state of semi-hibernation after a bit of a busy period but I've got a few bits I'm working on which I'm excited to share soon!
